I'd rather have a longer day so their absence doesn't have as much impact on the game. They can be scum getting a lucky break just because they're AWOL, Town getting knocked out for the worst possible reason or scum getting voted out because IRL is preventing them from defending properly. Either way it would be unfair to at least one team and all players as a whole. So yeah, definitely longer day or even game on pause for a short bit rather than ending the day under these circumstances.

Ah it didn't really. Once Teams started working again I just had to work harder to catch up on the work I couldn't do earlier. Pretty tired now, about to go to bed (not actually any posts today, just saw I had a notification to reply to).

Yes, I would strongly support an extension of the Day until replacements are found.

I think I'll wait until tomorrow and then just pause the game for a couple of days until Flocke/nmillar return and/or I have enough replacements. As I said it's holidays here anyway so I could use the break, too.

I would definitely support an extension. It's a small game and people getting modkilled/lynched for disappearing would have a big impact on the outcome whatever team they're on.

GH strolled for the first time into the hall, admiring the craftsmanship evident in even something like a lodging corridor.....fine wood paneling gracing the walls, nice paintings spaced along the walls...etc etc.

In a common room connected to the hall, you notice that other crew/passengers are listening with intent to a message from the captain....something about a delay in the journey: "Good, gives me some extra time to relax and collect my thoughts" GH thought, before picking a book off a nearby shelf to take back to his cabin.

To me, this feels like a convenient minimal effort statement and vote. Sure, it can come from a Townie, who didn't catch up yet and sees no reason yet to change their vote. But it can also be from Scum, who thinks 'these two went over well yesterday. So it will be inconspicuous if I suspect them again.' So please explain why we are the most likely with something more than 'they were suspected yesterday'.

As for reasoning, I already mentioned that you and GH are both capable of a WIFOM move, in the part of the quote you cut out. I think GH is the more likely of the two to try this, as you generally have a much better thought out plan in these games, whereas GH can be a bit more "off the cuff", hence my vote being with him rather than you.

Other than Pookina's analysis, there's not been anything of real substance from anyone on day 2 so far, so it's only reasonable to pick up where things left off on day 1. As per Pookina's analysis, ZFR had pretty much everyone on their list at one point, so the NK hasn't really given us any extra information.

1. that's not really a reason. Everyone is capable of employing WIFOM. Just that someone would be able to do something if he were part of the scum faction, doesn't mean that he automatically is part of that scum faction. Since alignment isn't handed out according to ability, but randomly. So 'would be capable of WIFOM' is a very thin reason to suspect someone. ... It's a reason, not to remove someone from suspicion, because of WIFOM. But there has to be a reason for suspicion first. And here your reason is just: "Well, what someone else said." (paraphrased)
In other words, you pick someone who was already suspected by others without adding anything yourself.

While it is true, that ZFR's NK didn't give us much extra information (probably one of the reasons why he was selected), and definitely not as much as a lynch would have (the reason why I urged not not no-lynch on D1), there is some information.
