Unless, of course, it is another lie from the devs!

Is it true? They reached GOG for an agreement? Not only DRM-Free, but also, censor-free? Please let us know! I will buy it, if they lift censorship and sell it here!

Can somebody verify/confirm? Will GOG accept the uncensored version? Please help out this small time Polish group who messed up?

I suppose we will just have to wait and see.
I don't expect GOG to come and confirm or to deny it.
Probably will just drop out of the blue like it was the case with the first batch of visual novels.
Shouldn't take their sweet time with it and risk losing on the momentum though.

reviews for agony have not been kind, one reviewer I like gggmanlives is pretty harsh on it

might still get it if it comes here just to see for myself.
but if the devs decided to self-censor thats pretty stupid.

Why is it dumb if that's how they decide they want to present their product. How is it any worse to remove objectionable content due to backlash from a group of people than it is to add content due to backlash ffrom a group of people? How are the second group any less bullies than the first?
low rated

It`s often best to drop it out of the blue so some sjw/feminist don`t know and can`t cause trouble and get it removed/censored. Nothing they like more than destroying our fun.

dumb was the wrong choice of a word, but I believe since they are already doing a story about going to hell and experiencing the weirdness such a story offers, why self censor? but you raise a valid point, I just think "the artist should not fear the censor" if you want to create something weird and sexual or gory or insane you should be allowed too, but I come from an artistic family so I have biases in that direction.
I'm hoping that if the game will come here on GOG will not be censored, devs said that are trying to sell the game in its AO form, now i'm waiting to see if it'll come uncut.
fingers crossed
That's not good news, and this thread title is misleading/false advertising.

It's just more lies from the Agony devs.

There's no indication that GOG is willing to sell AO games. They don't even sell AO VNs.

And the Agony devs also lied about what they censored, and now claim that most of their acts of censorship are just "artistic changes" and not actually censorship. Therefore, when the devs say it will be "uncensored," they don't mean the same thing that customers mean by the same word. At most, the devs would just restore the cut endings and leave all the other cut/changed content censored (since they don't consider that other censored content to be "censored").

I know GOG selled others AO games in the past

Makes me think of the old "it's not a bug, it's a feature!"

"It's not censorship, it's an artistic change!"

EDIT: Also worth noting, but technically the GOG version of Fahrenheit is rated AO, so it might be more on a case-by-case basis depending on the content pushing it to AO for GOG.

https://www.gog.com/game/fahrenheit_indigo_prophecy

Either way, given how they keep changing the story about the censorship, I still wouldn't trust the devs to deliver.

If they keep their word this time round and bring it uncut, i am so getting it. Technical issues are already being worked upon and patches are in progress (this is not a lie of theirs). They say GOG's version will come with those patches, too.

I hope GOG accepts and provides it uncensored. I had my eye briefly on that. It gets here, i get it. Count me in.

First patch came out today, it changed a lot of gameplay stuff. I really do hope that it will come on GOG with all promised content and patches.
I didn't want to waste so much money on cut content and broken game, so I'll wait to see where this will go.
Too niche
