Nie no Hakoniwa - Dollhouse of Offerings

GOG has added a disclaimer to the product page now but I think that it can't get mentioned often enough:

GOG is not selling the uncensored game. The publisher was offering it but GOG thought it would be wiser to sell the censored version for some obsure reason only they an their marketing team understand.
Like Shining Star Nova >.< .... at least a free patch exists (not on GOG >.>)
For the Sunrider Serie according to the Sekai Project Forum (Love in Space) - Titles 1-3 are censored, only the fourth isn't...where''s the logic o.O

It"s a complete nonsense when you see so many titles with the tag NSFW sold there with an unrated / uncensored added as Free "DLC" download directly on each related product page.

Fine to sell the censored version, but why not adding the uncensored version as free download. It's just more than obscure, it's not logical when you sell a product which has an NSFW tag and censored. Must be to the end-user to play the censored version or not.

Yeah the uncensored patch is a paid one, i don't really understand why GOG refused to have the paid patch on their storefront (even if it's bad)...
The original publisher is denpasoft: from all titles either there is a free patch or a paid patch.... i'm not certain to follow GOG here....
https://www.gog.com/en/games?publishers=denpasoft

Some others stores seems to sell it uncensored without the need of the patch.
https://steamcommunity.com/app/2527450/discussions/0/7198510808226210300

And yes if you want the uncensored version : it's not on GOG you should buy this product.

Oriza-Triznyák: Gore ? https://www.gog.com/en/game/seeds_of_chaos
Violence ? https://www.gog.com/en/game/crossroads_inn

Are you guys using random org or an AI to choose the themes / titles and the content of these promo offers ?
Crossroads Inn has more than a handful of reviews on Steam that suggest that the game has been abandoned. I'd say that the violence in this case is 100% against anyone that spends money on the game.

Sachys: its a basement full of gogbears who havent been fed in the last year. each one has a game title spray painted on their back.
the ones that dont get eaten get the game on promo.
then judas makes them into gogbear curry and the staff feast.
what kind of monster are you?
random.org pfff!
Thanks for making me laugh . =)
Gore & Violence?

Shame they couldn't use any of the imagery from Spec Ops: The Line in the sale banners.

That game had some sobering artistic takes on violence and gore.

I'm not sure what you mean? Is it broken or unfinished?

Which still counts as a demigod in Pathfinder, with a caveat that they can't be permanently killed.

Magnitus: Who can resist that sweet tentacled octupi face really? He makes ageless cosmic horror that shan't be spoken about a little cool.
Because Yog-Sothoth, Nyarlathothep and the King in Yellow are more cool. And if we are speaking of popularity contest, Nyarly is also very popular.

I have to admit that this headline made me chuckle quite a bit.

That is in a game rule set, not in REALITY! and Cthulhu will eat the souls of those who take part in such heresy!

I did not think you were going to take that path, I thought you were going to argue that the real gods are the Outer Gods, and the Great Old Ones are not true gods because of them. But for that argument, it is just like looking at the Greek gods, wheret you have the titans as same as the Outer Gods, but that does not change that Zeus, Hera, Posidon et.al are not gods as well, and would be comparable to the Great Old Ones.

Really? GOG did not even offer an uncensored DLC? Is there some external source for it?
What was the issue? Too much gore?

Titans are not Classical Mythology equivalent to Lovecraftian Outer Gods, that would probably be Protogenoi. But most Classical divinities were of similar strength, minus Zeus and Fate who were more powerful than everyone else (with Fate being the most powerful).

Apparently the uncensored version was too extreme for them and therefore they rejected it.
I would suggest to buy the game elsewhere (Jast) DRM-free where it is complete and uncensored. As an alternative there is a patch available on denpasoft but it is 10 bucks alone and I have no idea if it is compatible with the GOG version.

I am deeply disappointed that GOG rejected it but I doubt there is much we can do about it other than not buying the game here to make them see they made the wrong decision.

Breja: I'm not sure what you mean? Is it broken or unfinished?
More like abandoned with a lot of game breaking bugs, including frequent crashes, that were just left in the game. One review specifically sites a developer update that cites that they won't be doing any more fixes. The "Community Message - PATCH 4.0.9d6c" on Steam confirms that there will be no further fixes.

Even the uncensored version is still somehow censored ; with mosaic "portion" ....

the censored version just remplace some scenes with a black screen and text as i read.

Jastusa seems a good place to get it uncensored and cheaper than the censored version -_-

Nah, the gore is not censored. I think there's a filter that you can turn on and off iirc, but the only time mosaics are used is nudity and I'm fine with that. My issue is that this GOG decision may have prevented them from acquiring Eden's Ritter, Valkyrie Destruction, Night Shift Nurses, Revenge Paradise and Hentai Prison, all games that Shiravune has put up for preorder on Jast. Additionally, Jast seems to be competing now with other platforms by offering their own DRM-Free exclusives from companies like Medibang, Shady Corner Games and others. Some of these are Flambeau, Love N Dream, Love N Dream Virtual Happiness, Crossing Nightmare, Spunkstock and more to come I'm sure.

Simply put, I've been spending a lot more money at Jast than I have at GOG recently and part of it might be their rejection to a, plethora of games. Doesn't matter to me, they're still DRM-Free and Jast USA uses offline installers too.
