Oddeus: That´s a thread after my fancy: educational and artful. Never heard of Goa Trance before. I´m curious about the other links. I´ll listen into all of them.

Cadaver747: Goa Trance you say, since you are so open minded you should also try Dubstep immediately ;)

Man, I planned to listen to every song to the end. Now I have to sit here for ten hours...
What I always wanted to know: Do jazz players play a song the same way every time? Or do they improvise it different at every gig?

I can do better, the Crazy Bus title screen music (which I think may technically be considered aleatoric).:

(If you are unable to listen to these in their entirety, I don't blame you; the game is considered by many to have the worst music of any video game.)
There is nothing easier, my friend! Allow yourself to fully enjoy the harmony of musical symphonies and heavenly pure vocals. (^‿^)

tinyE: too vague XD

This is why I listen to a radio over MP3 or CDs. My taste in genre changes every five minutes. With the radio I can go from Pink Floyd, to Slayer, to Dylan, to Faith No More, to Beatles, to Psychedelic Furs and back again, over and over.
And here I thought MP3s empowered us to listen to whatever feeds our fancy.

So how does it work? Is the radio somehow attuned to your brainwave? Or is it simply that the radio determines your preferences? :)

I get five stations up here. I program each one and skip between them from song to song depending on what I want to listen to. I don't even look at what I'm doing, I just hold the remote over my shoulder while I'm gaming and push buttons until I hear a song I like.

Well, I can see how that might be easier than having to skip through individual tracks of your entire MP3 collection (on your computer, that is) while you're gaming. :)

Same for Secret of Mana.
