Gede: One question: I remember having played the demo for a game that was quite similar to this one (turn-based strategy game with hexagons). But all I remember from it (circa 1998) was that you had two factions: one with modern military and another with a fantasy theme that appeared through a mist, according to the story.
Ooooh I might finally know one of these - any chance it could have been "Battles in Time" ? It had a campaign where you'd use modern military, Evangelical Forces (and by Evangelical forces, I don't mean Crusaders - I mean guys riding dinosaurs ;) ) and maybe a fantasy team.
I grabbed this. I sort of immediately regretted it, because I don't like "clutter" on my shelf (yes, I know I can hide items) but I suppose it'll be good to have if I ever get the itch for an "old school" hex based wargame.
I can see the fantasy skin being a plus or a minus, depending on the mood I'm in.
