As it's 31st May I would like to wish all lovers of the Amiga a happy International Amiga Day.

It was a truly revolutionary computer and holds a special place in the heart of many retro enthusiasts.

In celebration I would like to suggest that we post links to some of our favourite Amiga games to share in its rich gaming history.

I still have my Amiga 500, down in the basement somewhere. I haven't looked at it in at least 25 years, so I highly doubt whether it even works at this point.

As long as you don't have anything with a battery in there (battery-backed clock or an accellerator with a battery) and your basement isn't too moist, there's a reasonable chance it will still work just fine, after cleaning ofc. Now, your old floppies on the other hand, might turn out to be a bit more hit-and-miss.
I spent so much time with these 2 games. Have put PC game play links, but I only ever had them on the Amiga. Would be so good to see these appear on GoG.

Yeah, but those old floppies could be the best tea coasters you'll ever have :).

Just remembered this as well

Robocop 3D

And you needed what is in the attached picture to play it :).

Here's a bunch of my personal favourites. They weren't all exclusive to the Amiga, but for most of them the Amiga version was definitely the best one.

Deuteros
MegaLoMania
Premiere
Wings
Moonstone
Nitro
Chuck Rock
Another World
Flashback
Prince of Persia
Gods
Ugh!
Desert Strike
Xenon II
Civilization
Dune
Dune II
Super Cars II
Superfrog
Ports of Call
Bombuzal
Turrican II
Pinball Dreams
Pinball Fantasies
Airborne Ranger
Nuclear War
Speedball II
Alien Breed SE 92
ProjextX SE
Lemmings
Logical
Cannon Fodder
Populous
Populous II
IK+
California Games
Murder!
North & South
The Lost Vikings
Hunter

Adventure games intentionally excluded, or the list would be far too long. The list is also limited to the games I remember spending the most time playing.
Ah, Amiga.
I played:

Bards Tale 1 - 3
Ultima IV
Imperium (grandfather of games like MoO and GalCiv)
Rocket Ranger
The Chaos Engine (a revolutionary mix of top down view shooter and RPG)

and many other games on it.

I forgot::

Civilization
Sim City
Railroad Tycoon
Pirates (one of the first open world games)
Elite (biggest universe a game had so far)
North & South (one of the first RTS games)

Sid Meier definitely is the one who did the most to shape out the 4x games category and the real time and open world games category.
