Stranger! Howdy stranger. We need your help, GOG has the [url=http://www.digitalleisure.com/]Digital Leisure games here. We're gonna need your votes to help with the deal. Can you help? Good.

Dragon's Lair
Dragon's Lair II: Time Warp
Space Ace
Kingdom II: Shadoan
Tender Loving Care
Mad Dog McCree
Mad Dog II: The Lost Gold
The Last Bounty Hunter
Crime Patrol (video game)
Crime Patrol 2: Drug Wars (also known simply as Drug Wars)
Who Shot Johnny Rock?
Space Pirates (video game)

"We had tried in the past to release the games on GOG, but it never worked out. Given the interest, I will have our team reach out again to the folks at GOG."

So please help to persuade GOG releasing the games here! ;)
You'd think at least Dragon's Lair titles would be a good addition here. Sure, they aren't long and they are merely QT fests, but I wouldn't mind them being here.
Thanks for pointing that out as "Digital Leisure" didn't ring a bell immediately. This is a goldmine of oldies right there (played them in arcade and on CD-I), GOG curation has failed us once again.... :(

For price reference purposes, Mad Dog Mc Cree is only something like 3-4 euros on the 3DS Eshop......
Space Ace, Dragon's Lair or Mad Dog McCree are a part of gaming history and they belong here. I know - these games are definitely NOT 'top notch' classics, they are short, flat, acting is rather poor etc. - nevertheless for a nice price I would pick all of them. C'mon GOG - concerning no legal issues, owner willing them here that's easy money.

BTW - great material about FMV oldies (unfortunately in polish only): http://tvgry.pl/?ID=4472

Mad Dog McCree! What's wrong with that being on GOG?
Wait wait wait, are we talking about the same Dragon's Lair that took $2 to play and 10 minutes to finish? :P The one where you didn't really play it, you just picked a direction and the ensuing cartoon let you know if it was the right direction?

Playing it became like NES Puch Out. As soon as you memorized the correct sequence of moves it became a joke. :P

The very same. GOG already has Kingdom: The Far Reaches here, complete with those annoying casino machine sound effects, so why not a more popular title like Dragon's Lair. ;-)

Also, Digital Leisure has Brain Dead 13:

To be fair, the quote from the publisher doesn't necessarily mean it was an outright rejection. It's also possible that GOG was interested, but Digital Leisure didn't agree to the terms that GOG had set forth (or vice-versa).

Yep, that's why I added the price of one of their game on 3DS as disagreements about pricing can be a factor of rejection To me the 3-4€ is somehow fair but interestingly, I don't recall many GOG oldies under the 5€ threshold (for new indies, prices can be seen as lower than 5€)

Ah now I see, didn't put two and two together there. Yeah, perhaps it was an inability to come to terms on pricing.

Yeah, Mad Dog McCree was an awesome game for that time on CD-I. I have the original American Laser Games version on PC as well but that lacks video quality.

Yes we do. :-P But it's still fun to have on the shelf. Back then the quality was awesome. And with the new versions it still looks awsome. The only thing that worries me is that in the new versions
apparently keyboard support isn't working / not implemented. It's mouse only, no gamepad as well. So then I would rather have an older version.

I voted for that one as well. Although on the site of Digital Leisure I couldn't find a trace about it.

The prices on the website of DL say 'Suggested Download Price: $9.99'. If it's a nice good remaster then I would pay that price for it. If it's buggy then I would wait for a sale. :-P I do hope that DL and GOG would get a deal. Since HuniePop worked out I guess this should be possible too since they're nice good old games.

I really liked Mad Dog McCree and I am very much for bringing it here!
Well DL is selling Dragon's Lair titles 10 dollars a pop at Steam, so I'd figure there's a 5 bucks too much there. In all honesty I wouldn't shell a tenner out of them.
