I have eventually found most of the games I enjoyed in my childhood. There is one game though I still couldn't. I would appreciate any help.

1. It is an Atari 2600 game (I have no doubt about it).
2. It consists of missions where you have to jump over obstacles, each mission getting harder (more obstacles, obstacles starting to move etc).
3. I remember your main character resembling an old lady, and the obstacles you jump from were men. But considering the amount of time passed and the graphics of Atari 2600, my mind might be clouded here.

Is it any of these?

Because the list is a little long.

I cannot help you directly but maybe you can search here if you find it?

Apparently the game you're looking for is a platformer. Could it be this one:

Lilly Adventure

You should find it at Atarimania.com by looking through the lists of platformers:

Arcade - Platformer (Multi-Screen)
Arcade - Platformer (Single-Screen)

thank you very much! It certainly is not Lilly Adventure but from that link, I could find Walker.

Gameplay is exactly identical. So my game was either a Walker clone (where the main character looks more like an old lady rather than a clown) or maybe it was Walker indeed!

It's wonderful that you found the game, the GOG community is great at that. I watched the clip you linked, and I'm reminded by how powerful nostalgia ends up being, because listening to that "music" now is what I would describe as nightmare inducing, and I grew up playing on the Atari 2600.
