It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).

Hello, I can't add games to the wishlist since today, reconfigured my system clock to see if that would fix it but no luck, then cleared cookies and still got the same behaviour. I'm using firefox latest version 109.0 and didn't load multiple tabs... tried wishlisting using the launcher but that didn't work either... when I select Wishlist from within the launcher it shows the list of the games I added previously, and states the number 0 next to the Wishlist button..
Is there something I could do on my end to fix this?
Thanks in advance.

How odd, I can add a game to my wishlist, just checked it on a GOG website. As for the 0 games in your wishlist it may be part of another bug where users got 0 games for submenu and profile games counter, the counter was fixed later but not the menu. I can't see my Wishlist on GOG Galaxy since I'm on an outdated version under Windows 7.

I would suggest to try adding the game on another computer. If it works you'll know where to search for the problem. Sometimes some bad scripts ruin your browser's work and only Restore to default settings can help. Try it as well.

I tried adding a game while checking the console output inside web developer tools, I get a '401 unauthorized' code
I also changed my password to see if that would fix it but had no impact, now as a side note, seeing this error makes me wonder if changing the password made the problem worse, bc I dont understand what's causing this in the first place.

Have you considered the Restore to default settings approach? However it has no sense since GOG Galaxy failed to do that and it's not related to your Browser operation.

'restore to default settings', are you refering to windows, firefox or the launcher?
I'll try adding from another web browser, but seems unlikely to work since the problem is persisting across platforms (firefox/gog galaxy)

To be on a safe side check your GOG related email, perhaps even change the password and a backup data as well. Then go to https://www.gog.com/en/account/settings/security and click on LOGOUT Authorized sessions.

I was referring to your FireFox browser and applied a link (it was the first Google result):

And you are right that it's probably not the core of the problem since GOG Galaxy can't do it either. So for start I'd recommend to try the website version on another PC.

Yeah, pretty much... it was working like a charm, since forever... the issue popped outta nowhere.
Found this, which matches a lot with my problem:

So here is what you may try:
https://www.gog.com/forum/general/cant_add_to_wishlist_anymore/post4 - a workaround with adding to wishlist from a cart which solved an issue for one such user

https://www.gog.com/user/refresh - might help theoretically

https://www.gog.com/en/account/settings/security - LOGOUT ALL, might help theoretically

Sry for the late reply, after logging out from all devices 2fa code wasn't being sent, apparently I triggered a security function after clearning my cookies so many times, pc was being detected as a new device.

1. At first I thought this approach worked, but later checked wishlist and looked the same.
2. This didn't work either.
3. This didn't change anything either.

While looking at the console I noticed these warnings, 'EventBus is duplicated' and 'Access Token Client is duplicated'
For the time being I think I'll just sit on it, need to leave the comp and after all these failed attempts it feels like theres not much I can do on my side.

Thanks so much though, for the time you spent on this.
Cheers!

Auth failed URL needs to be changed by GoG to https://www.gog.com/userData.json

I outlined how to fix this to GoG in another thread, but they are useless

It fixs the numbers in the drop down menu (this the URL they need to change)

On the 23rd, I heard back from Clownski_ who'd been on holiday. I had to insist that there are still issues, like the numbers in the user menu and achievements missing on the profile page. My report was passed on.

I'm not sure if your solution got lost in the shuffle. Maybe try another chat message?

i actually wondered about just making the same thread over and over like the spammers, so that when they get deleted i'd know that it would of at least been looked at
It's working now, I tried wishlisting using the launcher and it worked flawlessly, then went ahead and tried using the web browser and that worked as well. I still see the same warning 'EventBus is duplicated', but 'Access Token Client is duplicated' is not showing anymore, so I'm guessing that was the root cause for the error.

Thanks everyone for the input, and the support team for fixing it!.

For me it's still broken. The cart workaround works for wishlisting, but the logout bug affects my ability to rate reviews as well and there's no workaround for that.

Still not working, even for me in 2024
