Hello,

So I eventually figured out by reading a bunch of articles that you use Shift+Tab to open the overlay (the keystroke is not available in any actual GOG resources I could find, glad the article mentioned it!) and there in the top right corner is the FPS counter.

It goes away when I close the overlay. Is it possible to make the FPS counter persistent? It's sort of pointless to see my FPS when I have a game paused because the overlay is up.

Thanks

It would be nice if there was an option to keep the FPS counter on the screen the entire time.
I hope it gets added in the future.
It won't work with all the games available here, but you can use Fraps.
If I'm not mistaken the FPS counter is available in the free version.

Yeah I have NVIDIA Precision installed, which I use for FPS and video card monitoring, but it doesn't like Witcher 3, so I can't see my FPS on that game. No big deal, thanks for the response though.

Venom (Galaxy dev) hinted customization options will come in a patch soon, so I expect this will be added...

Ah so it's not like you need it, it's a critic to the Galaxy overlay option, I get it.
I suggested an alternative, because the op made me think you were needing to know the frame rate in your games. I was just trying to give you a hand.

Eh.. "soon"!
Considering how much it took for them to actually release 1.2 (it would've been better if they had waited before announcing the release to the world, imo), I'm not so sure it will really be soon, that they'll add more customization...
Not that I don't believe, but please, can you post source, BKG? I'd like to see it.

Post edited, English is not my native language, so sometimes I "slip in the banana peel on the floor" and have to fix the meaning of some phrases. God, it would be sooo much easier to express myself if portuguese or brazillian portuguese was the common language of the internet. :) Thanks for sharing.
Hmm, he said "coming in the next updates", so probably not in the next one, right? Otherwise he (likely) would've said "update". :(
On the other hand, if they first release patches to fix bugs (it should be at the top of their priorities list) and more urgent stuff, it'll be pretty good!

It may or may not be the next one... he said that right before v1.2.6 released. So I would expect it in one of the coming updates.

Yep, that'w why I said thanks for the reply. I wish the functionality existed, because EVGA Precision is unreliable with GOG games.

It's good to hear that they're working on getting the overlay working like I wish it was.

Thanks for the info, everyone.
