idbeholdME: Yes, time does not count if you do not run through Galaxy.
Regarding achievements, if you have Galaxy running in the background or just start it at any point while playing the game they will be counted even if you do not run the game from it. I have 0m played on many games but still have the achievements.

Zireael_n7: If I run a game from the link or the executable and not from the GOG Client, it won't count the hours in game and MAYBE it won't collect the achievments, too. Is there a way to resolve or I should run every game always from the Client?
Lifthrasil: If you want the Client to record the hours played (for whatever reason), you'll have to run the game through the client. Same goes for some online-achievements, I think. That's what the client is there for. If you start the games offline without the client, you don't get any online features.
Personally, I don't want any online client recording my gaming hours and my gaming habits and I don't need any achievements for bragging rights. But to each his own.
Thank you. I don't care about the hours too, but i was curious to know if it was just my problem or not. And the same for achievements that i never check.
