Braggadar: You can always try. But like eric5h5 said, GOG does exercise curation and they don't make the criteria behind it public knowledge. All we do know is the vast majority of the small-time indie titles which populate Itch don't make it here (in my personal
facebook bio for boys opinion that's actually a good thing, but others may not agree).
You've also got to ask yourself why you want to publish it here on GOG anyway. Unless the game is doing super-strong on Itch and it's time to spread your wings, having it available on other platforms isn't going to do you many favours. You're probably better off advertising your game on social media etc to increase its visibility on Itch alone, which is the platform most sympathetic to small indie devs. I can all but guarantee that those who like your game here will already have an active Itch account. *shrug*
Start small on Itch first. If you turn out something really fantastic THEN consider other platforms.
