I'm finding that the frequency of the flashing for the huge banner at the top of the main homepage causes me issues - even in the short time before I can move the page down - can anyone help with a uBlock code to block the whole banner permanently or at least stop it flashing? Thanks.

If you use Stylus browser addon, you can apply this style for gog.com domain:
.takeover__product {
display: none !important;
}

This is the relevant filter for uBlock origin:
www.gog.com##.takeover__product.takeover.big-spot-wrapper

Unfortunately as I only have uBlock installed I'll mark maxpoweruser as the solution (wish I could mark you both as the solution but have given +1 instead) but thank you for responding.

Don't worry, it's up to you which answer you found the most helpful. :)
GOG and CDPR just keep finding new ways to attack people with accessibility issues, don't they? I wonder if the staff removed the ramps leading to their building "by accident" before?
