I recently purchased Skyrim AE via Nexus Mods DP system. I have email confirmation to support this. I understand that GoG shows the SE thumbnail and that the game needs to be installed and the Extras checked for the AE content to be flagged. However, when I click on the thumbnail it takes me to the page where I can launch the Steam install of Skyrim SE.

I have no option anywhere that I can see to install the version purchased with GoG. Could someone please enlighten me how I go about getting the GoG version installed? Do I need to unlink Steam from GoG before it becomes an option?


EDIT: I think I found it. There is a little diamond at the top of the screen with a number next to it. This opens a drop down where different platforms associated with the game can be accessed. Changing it to GoG there offers the install button.

One of those little UI things that I never really had need to use before and thus didn't know what it did. Color me informed now.

Color GOG's UI poorly designed and informed; I've seen this type of thread frequently.
