I have no idea what the arrangements truly are, but my guess is that the weekly sales are largely designed based on the publisher's demands (and certainly the publisher-specific bundles), while the Indie Bundles are still Humble's baby and you need to agree to DRM-free and multiplatform to get in on them.
mmm, is it just me or the serious sam HD keys activate both of them (each keyà ?: meaning a dupe key

at least the 1st one activated both of them for me....

no no ; Serious Sam HD: The First Encounter unlocked Serious Sam HD: The Second Encounter aswell , i didn't input the second key.

and my steam's account detail says : Serious Sam HD retail -> my guess is they messed up with the serious sam HD Double Pack offer on Steam : that's the only explanation i came too...

unless the other key unlock the classic versions , but that's not what's stated on the HB website.

mmm, that's not the same issue there :

i know because yesterday i redeemed Fary Bloom Freesia, and the activation box was blank just after the input of the key. Restarting the client fixed the issue.

Here : it's a mixup with an offer ; either Steam side / or HB side. , or both , LOL.

i just wanted to know if others users got the same glitch ;)

boct1584: They're all Steam keys only, so there's no duplication going on, so what does it matter?
Amok's objection is that they say all the keys are for one person, not to do with duplication.

For the record I agree with you though.

Garugo: Just last week's Arcen bundle had A Valley Without Wind drm-free installers.
Whoa wait, were the rest of the games steam only? I assumed that being Arcen games, they'd all be DRM-free (or nearly, some are offline CD-key). Granted some like AI War you could just use the key Steam gives you in the version downloaded from Arcen's website, but not sure how that would work with Shattered Haven, Tidalis, or Skyward Collapse.

Immoli: Whoa wait, were the rest of the games steam only?
I didn't buy the BTA bundle, so I can't say for Shattered Haven or Skyward Collapse, but AI War, A Valley Without Wind 1+2, and Tidalis all have DRM-Free downloads available. I only mentioned Valley because those are the games I grabbed the installers for... probably should have mentioned that.

Soon enough people can just make a dummy account, dump the keys they don't need in there, and hold a giveaway to who gets exclusive shared access to make it all a moot point anyways. :P

keeveek: So a person cannot comment on bundle saying "I only want one game so I pass" without being judged?

Sheesh, this forum is getting better and better every day.
Sad face makes the difference.

tokisto: Could GOG know that this bundle would come and it did that 75% discount on SS2?
I suspect they were warned and given the chance to do the discount before hand. Having just bought SS2 from GOG the other day, I'm not sure if I will bother picking up this weeks HWB though the Megaton ed of DN3D and Redux of SW is tempting.

Had never heard of Hard Reset before this bundle.

If you just want DN and SW you may pay below the average ;)
