I really have not been very active on the forums since 2016 or so, but I am a little confused on some of the rules.

Is thread bumping the same as necroing? And, even if it was, what is the problem with bumping a thread in general if it is not gaining the desired answer or traction? Would it be better if the thread had no traction for several hours and then you create a new one, making duplicate topics? In that case, may as well delete threads after so much time if we are not allowed to comment on something because it was determined to be necro-ed:

https://www.gog.com/forum/general/transfer_games_from_one_account_to_another_merge_accounts/post19/?staff=yes
On another note, if you do not want us to create multiple threads on the same topic, no matter how silly or self serving, then let us use old threads that the user thinks is relevant. Besides, if the user thinks you are ignoring them then why should they not be allowed to make a thread voicing their concern where their money and time are concerned.

Do the rules say not to make new threads about the same topic? I may have missed that.
Lastly, this is a quote from the forum rules, "Political discussions not related to a video game are not permitted. Threads created exclusively to talk about politics will be locked. Users who ignore this rule repeatedly will be met with moderation."
If that is the case, then why was a thread locked where it concerned the game devotion and politics simultaneously. Unless the reference is to in game politics (Temeria is great, Nilfgaard is not.), in which case I did not understand it to relate to real world politics.
Honest questions, not trying to be mean or anything. I have just seen a lot of locked threads and wanted to know. Thanks in advance.
