HunchBluntley: ...And OP was never heard from again, and never came back to GOG, because he never saw Judas' message, because he never saw the notification flag because there wasn't one.
;P

Midoryu: Is that a thing now with the redesign that you don't see a mark anymore? Then I have to check on the threads I posted in recently, manually... Irony is, I maybe won't see your reply, so thanks in advance.
You'll still see threads with unread replies marked in the forum pages, and of course in the "My posts" page, but notification flags in one's account tab are borked for now in browsers. Same deal with Chat notfications, I think.

And I don't know if it's global, or was just an isolated incident, but I had an updated game in my library yesterday, and besides not giving me a notification flag (obviously), it didn't even show up when I check the "updated" section; I only knew about it because I saw someone mention Terraria having just been updated again, and it did have the little blue "updated" dot when I looked, and the most recent changelog showed that day's date.
Good thing I don't own very many games that still get updated much...

lufu: What's going on with the support? ...
And what happened after JudsaIscariot replying to you?

Have they already processed your issue? Have they apologized?

Keep us updated. We want to know if you were satisfied at the end.

JudasIscariot claimed that GOG Support have replied to me, while IN FACT they never did anything.

lufu: I even bumped the conversation 7 days after I opened the support ticket.

Randalator: That was a mistake.
I think the mistake was that they didn't manage to reply within 7 days. But hey, that's just me.

edit: Sorry for that rude reply. I assume you meant well. I wasn't in the best mood when I just saw that the support still hasn't replied. I vent my wrath on you and I really shouldn't have done that.

So I had some problems posting this reply because I had problems with the quotes tags. With the help of HunchBluntley (who responded to an earlier version of this post) I was able to fix this. The rest of this post is my actual reply.

I still haven't heard back from the support. Then I thought maybe they fixed the issue, but forgot to told me about it. However, that's (unfortunately) not the case either.

HunchBluntley: Did you get the automated e-mail response that gets sent shortly after opening a ticket?

As always in situations like this, check your e-mail program's spam folder. Probably also double-check that the e-mail address linked to your GOG account is the exact same one you were looking in for responses.
Beyond that, try sending a message to <span class="bold">Firek</span>, GOG's "Support Overlord".
Yes, I got that e-mail. I'll wait for JudasIscariot to work his wonders, but thanks for the tip regarding Firek.

JudasIscariot: Do you have a ticket number?
As far as I understand it's #40504. I'd love to know what went wrong in this case.

kbnrylaec: One of my recent ticket get processed AFTER 19 days.
I'd say, recent GOG Support is really really bad.
That's indeed worrying. You have my sympathy. *hug*

Nothing so far. (However, I only saw his above post just a couple of minutes ago.)

lufu: What's going on with the support? Is there even one?

I told them about a little mistake in the description of two games. I even bumped the conversation 7 days after I opened the support ticket. Still nothing.

How does that make sense? Why would anyone report errors on the website if the support doesn't care about the feedback anyway?

Needless to say that I'm disappointed.
Yeah, I'm still waiting on a response to a question I submitted on the 12th of April, it may have sounded like a silly question but I would still have liked a response. I got an answer on a more recent and similar question though, not holding my breath on an answer to the former inquiry.

lufu: Okay, so now I apparently can't post anymore. It click on "Post my message" and it just doesn't stop processing. (My internet connection seems to work fine otherwise.) I'll try to post this message as a test and (try to) edit it afterwards.

edit: I seems that the forum isn't able to process a lot of quotes in a single post or something like that. I'll try to post this edit and if it works I'll remove the quotes from my reply and then post it.
If you have a [ quote ] where you should've had a [ /quote ] (or vice versa), or you had one too many or too few of either, the post will just sit and spin. (Also happens if you try to post certain all-caps swear words, or if your post is too long.)

I'll ask again: did you make sure that 1.) the e-mail account you're checking is the same one associated with your "lufu" GOG acount, and 2.) that no messages got caught by your spam filter? It might sound stupid, but I've seen both as the cause of why someone seemingly wasn't getting responses from Support.
Also, if you didn't respond to JudasIscariot's post, please do -- he works for GOG, and will get someone on your case.

Thanks for the reply. There was indeed something wrong with the quote tags! (Too bad the forum software didn't print an error message or at least processed the message verbatim. I'm used to the latter from Paradoxplaza and Steam, I think.) With your help I was able to edit my previous post.

1) Yes, I got that e-mail. 2) I use the website to check the status of my support ticket, but I just checked my spam folder and there's no message from GOG there. (I emptied it about a week ago, but usually I take a glance at the e-mails in there before I delete them. I think/hope that I'd have noticed an e-mail by GOG.)
I got a reply from the support. A support rep by the name Cwaniak told me that he's "very sorry about the late reply" and that he has asked their "Product team to look into this. They will check it, and correct it if necessary".

So I'll give them a week to do that and keep you folks posted until this issue is resolved.

That's though, yeah. Maybe HunchBluntley's tip regarding Firek (on page one) helps.
I just checked. The product team fixed the mistakes I told the support about.

So all is well now, but honestly I fear that next time I won't bother to report mistakes on the website. It's just too much effort and one doesn't even get a "Thank you!".

Anyway, thanks to everyone who was trying to help. :)

It really depends on the issue. If you have problems with a game you bought, or with a transaction itself, they will generally get back to you pretty quickly. But, yeah, missing or erroneous info on a store page (unless it's to do with the price!) might take a little while for them to get to. I'm still waiting on an issue I reported to Judas (via Chat, not Support) to be fixed after a month or two, for example.

Anyway, glad to hear they cleared up your issue, even if getting their attention took a while. :)
