Not lately no, I guess people got tired of it.

The human brain process pictures far quicker than words and when people have an established unique avatar it's easy to see how it is rather than reading their name. Not exactly important either but one of those things that would be nice to have.

Another functions that would be useful are things that BE or AD adds like italic hotkey / quick bar to access easily or to easily name a hyperlink.

A spoiler tag that works for everyone too.

For long discussions, a paragraph quote function would be wonderful as most people seem to be very lazy when quoting, sometimes even quoting a huge post and responding with only a sentence or two.

Nah, this forum seems fine; it just needs a bit more in terms of editing tools.

I agree, but maybe not more sub-forums but better organised?

I find a big problem is the hundreds of game specific forums without any clear system flagging new posts. Someone might ask a question there that I could easily answer and help them, but I'm simply not aware of it unless I open the forum.

Perhaps the ability to tag certain sub-forums as "Favourites" to be alerted with new posts. Or to arrange the game specific forums by most recently updated, rather than just alphabetical order?

Even don't need to argue , they must use phpBB :D It's the best over the years .

Mind you that i wasn't only talking about your post, i'm also including the people that didn't even post because that is what goes on their mind "the forum is perfect as it is, no need for anything to change".

It just blows my mind how people are ok with:

- The broken account creation system where you can have an account without having a real email;

- Simple features that were created by USERS and not the GOG WEB TEAM (hell, this is what really pisses me off, how is it that people not working for gog can fix stuff with scripts and yet a PROFESSIONAL (???) web team can't?);

- Their rep system is broken and easily abused, hell, indirectly (glitch) it even helps the local parasite to gain rep;

- Like i said, the anti spam measure is nonsense since it affects legit users and the bots keep coming and spamming the forum;

- THERE ISN'T ANY C-O-M-M-U-N-I-C-A-T-I-O-N FROM THE GOG TEAM! I would rather have a rock as the community manager than whatever we have now, at least i know what to expect from a rock,

- "I'll try", "I promise", "We're discussing", "We're trying", etc, ALL BULLSHIT, what the hell are they doing all this months? Were is the Q&A so that we can ask them DIRECTLY what is going on? Why aren't they fixing this mess? Why do they have so much holidays in Poland?
