The spiritual successor to Freelancer with a Lovecraftian, sandbox RPG twist – Underspace is now out on GOG in early access, launching with a -10% discount until April 17th, 10 AM UTC!

Be a miner picking through crystallized bones of ancient star beasts, a trader hauling artifacts to far-flung outposts, a pirate robbing spacetrains, an explorer combing through lost stellar cities, or a hunter chasing down unknowable monstrosities that spew forth from the storms. Brave violent weather, eldritch beasts, and the terrors of the unknown as you make your mark in the universe.

Now on GOG!

Freelancer meets Call of Cthulhu, what's not to like? :D

Bought. I had an eye on that one for a while, and am pleasantly surprised to find it on GOG on day one.

Oh boy, can't wait for my GOG backer code :). Trainwiz (the developer) said he'll start sending them out over the weekend since other stuff is pretty overwhelming at the moment, quite understandably so.

P.S.: The price, given the amount of content that's already in game, is surprisingly low. Totally worth it IMHO.

Space games.....worse than a crack addiction!

Ill probably suck at this too. So I hope it goes down to $15. At when Im crying over losing in game, it wont hurt my wallet xD

And it is already 6 updates behind the Steam version I regret buying this so long ago I can't refund it this version has bugs preventing autopilot from working that was fixed on the steam version last year.

Sorry to hear that since I was interested in this. Are you saying the dev didn't follow through when he explained the situation back in April?

GOG version is 1.34.0 Steam is 1.38.0, 6 updates/patches ahead of GOG.

Get it refunded then, wait until it releases proper, finished and feature-complete, and pick it up agian.

Tuxmancer: GOG version is 1.34.0 Steam is 1.38.0, 6 updates/patches ahead of GOG.
So according to the notes on Steam, GOG is missing 1.35, 1.36, 1.37, and 1.38. 1.35 got posted Nov 16. So it looks like between April and Nov, the dev was trying to make good on what he said. Then he stopped parity. I don't use "the other platform" but if someone made a post asking why he stopped, he might explain. He seems to communicate pretty well.
