I get the feeling people here don't like Epic as much and loves IG the most (after GOG of course)
People here like Steam best. Witness the feeding frenzy whenever a Steam code is given away.
Indiegala just looks like another Steam key site, they're not a platform or competition to Steam, they're a supplier.
I've been reluctant to create an account on the Epic store, even though they've offered for free games I wanted.

I have a few games on Steam, I would rather use GOG exclusively, but most of the games I have on Steam are not available here and it's unlikely they will ever be. I have only three games on Steam that are available here, but those I got for free.

I've never used Indiegala. I think with GOG and Steam I have all my gaming needs covered.
I don't like ANY of those three.

DRM-free store or no buys.
As platforms I use GoG (installers, not Galaxy) and steam fairly interchangeably, twitch a distant 3rd, and UPLAY a light year back into 4th.

Twitch does need an Amazon account. Once in a while they have really good freebies (Pillars of Eternity, currently Wonder Boy: Dragon's Trap).

I used to have Origin, but had issues with it and then got locked out, so it got abandoned. I only had a handful of games there anyway.

I have nothing against Epic, particularly, but it's down there with Origin in terms of not appealing enough to put in the effort.
Indie Gala has started giving away a DRM free game every week. You can download and store offline forever like GOG.

Epic is givng away a free game or two every week. On Aug 16th, they will be giving away Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden and Hyper Light Drifter. These are not drm free, you will need the Epic client to download and install the games. Im shocked by the quality and quantity of the free games. I now have a large collection without spending a single penny.

I mostly use Steam because they have been around the longest and have the cheapest bundles from many sites like Humble Bundle, Fanatical and IndieGala. There is always a risk of losing access to your games if they go bankrupt.

For older classic games, GOG is still the best site because they mod the games to work on modern PCs. If you buy during their 75% off sales, then their prices are very competitive with Steam.

While true that you need the Epic client to download them (and an account to claim them), a lot of the games EGS has offered as freebies haven't required the client in order to run once downloaded (some normally launch via the client, but you can force it not to by using a Command Line argument on the executable). So in my preference in terms of pure functionality, Epic is preferable to Steam.

IndiaGala like others have said is primarily a Steam key reseller. Yes, they have been offering free games frequently, but the quality of the selection hasn't been stellar so far to be honest. I was very surprised to see Deponia in the mix, but that's been the one shining jewel in the lot imo.

HumbleBundle is more respectable than IG in my book. It does itself offer the occasional DRM-free installation for certain games, and although it is primarily a Steam key reseller (in numbers), it does resell a small catalogue of keys from other platforms as well (even GOG).

To be honest I've never heard people say they like IG immediately after GOG. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
IG sells keys, mostly steam, Epic is a storefront and platform. The two are quite different.

I use all of them but steam, Origin, Uplay, Bbattlent, Gog then Epic. All comes down to how well they work and what they offer in options for me if i'm honest.
I don't care, I use any client that is necessary to get the games I want. Of course, I prefer the GOG's approach on things and I feel safer being able to independantly backup my games in case of internet downtime or zombie invasion, but I don't really mind at all.

I have active accounts on GOG, Twitch, Steam, Origin, Uplay, Blizzard's BattleNet and the likes. i abandonned any sense of privacy the day I got a Facebook account, anyways...
I like GOG best and after that I don't really care much. I have all the clients installed and use them when I have to, and which one I use doesn't matter much because I turn off the in-game interface and launch the game from a desktop shortcut. It's pretty much invisible except for the DRM aspect and patching.

I don't have battle.net installed though because I play nothing exclusive to it.
