Just purchased and installed this game and it does not load only a black screen with an error message "No video memory". Have Nvidia RTX3060 card and plenty of memory. I followed the Tech Support fix by uninstalling the RTX3060 driver and installing a newly downloaded version from Nvidia, same result. I also received a screen box from Active Fungus Studios the said "OOPS A Bavarian Tale just crashed" the message said that they would try to correct the issue in later version, whatever that means. I am GOG Galaxy for download and install. Other than these messages I only get a black screen that I need to go through task manager to shut the game down.
Searched about this issue from another game provider and found this discussion (in German) https://steamcommunity.com/app/1694560/discussions/0/3190241719903270401/

According to the players solution it seems that 8 GB of VRAM isn't enough (assuming you don't have a 12 GB RTX 3060 model).

The proposed solution in that Steam discussions says:

Hey deadserious26, are you playing on a Radeon or an Nvidia GPU? We have found that the AMD drivers sometimes cause problems. However, it runs smoothly in window mode. We will also offer this in the Settings menu for the full release.
So I am unsure if it is really about requiring more than 8GB VRAM? That would be quite a steep requirement anyway, at least if it isn't possible to go under that requirement e.g. by using a lower resolution and lower texture quality.

EDIT: Actually the discussion says that 8GB of RAM (not VRAM) might not be enough. The user upgraded his main RAM from 8GB to 24GB, and then the game worked.

This.
However: the game's system requirements say:
Minimum requirement: 8 GB of RAM
Recommended Requirement: 16 GB RAM

So (assuming the OP has at least 8 GB RAM in a system that also houses a RTX3060), the game should run on his system either way.

I am running a 12th gen I7 16GB Vram and a 12GB RTX 3060 machine and can run all of my sixty-four games flawlessly. I cannot get into the game configuration the graphics won't load so black screen other than the error boxes. I can't close out of the game unless I use the task manager
