Connect your Steam account and grow or jumpstart your GOG.com library.

UPDATE: Last chance to grab your games from the original list! Make sure to get them until June 8, 12:59 PM UTC.

Want more games? We've got more games! Three new titles are now available through GOG Connect:

- Kona
- Defender's Quest
- Door Kickers

You can get them until June 13, 1:59 PM UTC.

Today, we're launching a new program called GOG Connect. The premise is simple: connect your Steam account and add your eligible games to your GOG.com library.

Whether you're checking us out for the first time or have been with us for a while, GOG Connect gets you DRM-free versions of your games, digital extras, and a whole lot of freedom of choice (like whether you go with the GOG Galaxy client or not). It gets you our take on game ownership, and we say: why buy the games more than once?

Thanks to our awesome partners including Deep Silver, Harebrained Schemes, Jonathan Blow's Number None, TaleWorlds and more, you can now add more than 20 games to your GOG.com library if you previously purchased them on Steam.

The full list of games will always be available on connect.gog.com, starting with these and more:

- The Witness
- FTL: Faster Than Light
- The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing: Final Cut
- Galactic Civilizations 3
- Trine Enchanted Edition
- Saints Row 2
- Shadowrun Returns
- The Witcher: Enhanced Edition

While GOG Connect will stick around, the available games will come and go. These are limited-time offers made possible by participating developers and publishers, so stay tuned as we bring new titles onboard in the future (and grab your copies before they go away)!

For a bit more library-building, a bunch of our favorite titles will also be discounted up to -85% all week long, including The Witness, Saints Row: The Third, System Shock 2 and more. You can check out all the deals here. The sale will last until June 6, 12:59 PM UTC.
I don't have a steam account and won't have one ... but anyway, thank you for this feature, some users will love it :)
Where Can I found full list for now? After connect I have still communicate error (like many ppl) and can't see list of games.
After a night of booze I found myself next to a steam account with a free nvidia game (one of the Batmans IIRC) on it the next morning. After the deinstall of shame (the launcher; the game was not released? or something) I tried to forget it with more booze.

So I can now get that steam Batman game as a DRM free installer if I connect it with gog galaxy?

I guess not, but I felt I had to ask.

Open the page in a private page (or logout and open the page).
It's not working, it looks like it connected my accounts, but then it just keeps saying:

WE COULDN'T REACH THE STEAM SERVICE RIGHT NOW.

Please try again later.

yogsloth: I admit I don't understand this.

So I can buy games on Steam for eight cents and then redeem them on GOG? For no revenue to GOG? I get the game has to be on GOG to begin with - and part of this program - but every week there are games on Humble promos at three-for-a-dollar for steam keys. I can use a steam account, redeem those keys, and then port them to DRM-free versions on GOG?

MarkoH01: Yes, that is exactly why I am thinking that GOG may be a bit tooo friendly here. Luckily (for GOG) this only concens a limited number of games. But still - now you can use humble, indiegala, sales on steam ect. just to get games FOR FREE on GOG. Hard to believe but that is how this should work (IF it will work at any time).
As far as I know games from bundles or discounted added to Steam account doesn't show as egligible. Why? Because if they were, I should get at least FTL, Two Worlds and Saints Row 2 from GOG Connects but they show as not in Steam account.

Unless this is error GOG side of course.

gnarcadius: So the accounts connected for me, but after the "PROCESSING YOUR REQUEST..." prompt i get a lot of nothing and then "WE COULDN'T REACH THE STEAM SERVICE RIGHT NOW. Please try again later". I assume that it's due to heavy load? I set my Steam account to public (at least the options I could find).
Same here. Suspect you are correct about the heavy load, and I plan to try again later.
Hell yeah! Was hoping for something like this!!

Now let's see how many games I can get from Steam at some point...will check my library right now.

It's probably just a GOG error because keys from steam keys humble are exactly the same as keys bough directly on steam. It MAY however be that only keys bough directly ON steam (you can see them in your steam account) are eligible so it would not be a bug. However GOG is only talking about specific GAMES in your account and not specific KEYS.

Well, the site finally connected, but now it's reporting that I have no eligible games despite my verifying that about half of them are in my Steam library. Should I just chill for now and try again later today?
Great idea and easy implementation. Seem to be currently having a problem connecting, but I'm sure that will work itself out.
Amazing. One more reason to never log in to Steam anymore!
Thank you guys, we really appreciate your efforts to please us and to offer gaming community a DRM-free future!
