So the game is on sale, and there are a LOT of negative reviews, all about bugs and none existent hotseat multiplayer.

I was looking on how the game has changed in 2017 but I didn't find anything new, only more negative reviews... so.
Does the games has been fixed at some point? does it worth the money?
I was wondering too..

Well despite getting no replies, I bought the game.

I couldn't find any bugs. Hotseat, internet multiplayer is available and the game is like genesis just with better graphics.

Lol, me too.

Good to know at least, thanks (^_^)
I played it shortly after it came out and even back I found all the noise about the bugs to be exaggerated. Maybe I was lucky but I didn't find many bugs, and the game certainly wasn't broken.

Imo, the real problem of the game is that it's seriously repetitive. The first few shards are fun, but once you've found a winning strategy, it's pretty much rinse and repeat for however long it takes you to win the campaign.

Well I find that to be the case with most fantasy TBS, what I don't like with eador in general is the lack of different races you can have. At least I have a lot to learn so for me many of the mechanics are new to me.

That's true, but for instance in the Heroes of Might & Magic campaigns, your heroes level up, giving you new tricks to pull, and the setups for the maps are different, so they force you to adapt your strategy.
In Eador, you don't keep heroes from one shard to the next, and aside from unlocking higher tier stuff, the strategic setup is pretty much always the same.

And since the campaign is really long (I think it's well over 20 shards even if you take the shortest option), it got boring enough for me to quit about midway through it.

The game was seriouly buggy and it wasnt overexaggerated after release. But a few months later everything seemed to be fixed.

First impression was that it's just a Eador Genesis remake with HD GRAPHICS™
It was broken, corrupted saves and random crashes etc....
They were fixed, i still get the odd hang, but nothing that has stopped me playing the game.
In the end this game is MOTS....worth a few quid on sale, but that's it.
