Sorry if this is a problem with a really easy solution; I'm still fairly new to GoG

So I want to gift something to someone. I already have added them as a friend on my GoG progile. I went to the checkout to get it for them when it asks for their email. We don't want to share emails, for reasons we'd like to keep undisclosed. As far as I can see, I can't gift it to them, despite having added them as a friend. thought it would be akin to Steam, where you could click the friend you'd like to gift to

Is there a way to gift it to the without having an email?

Hello,

You don't have to use your friend's e-mail for gifts; just use any e-mail (including yours). Once your purchase is complete, you will be taken to a screen with a 16-digit code. Send it to them (via chat) and they can redeem it in the link below:

Or you can save the e-mail message with the code you receive if you decide to enter your own address into the box :)
