Reviewgamesh: I know I'd love a GOG bugfixed and modern compatible version of Red Alert.

I have that, but it's multiplayer-centric and it alters the original game's balance. I'm interested in re-playing the campaigns.

nebulosas: Regarding RTS games, you have Cossacks 3, a decent remaster of the original one. Hopefully we will have "soon" StarCraft remastered too. :)
Won't happen. Blizzard keeps their IP locked up tight. But they do support their games. Diablo II and StarCraft getting the love they have after all these years is INCREDIBLE.

You apparently missed the part where it actually has the campaigns and offers you the option of installing the cutscenes from the disc or from one of the servers they set them up on.

why would Blizzard give away 30% of income when they have invested in their own storefront?

Plokite_Wolf: As far as RTS games go, no proper game was released in the genre since 2008 except for StarCraft II.
I haven't followed all the recent releases but Grey Goo seems like a really good RTS. Too bad it's not likely to appear on GOG.

I apparently have. Although for some reason the mouse pointer disappears now when I start the program, so it's not doing me much good anyway.

Yeah, I wanted to try that one too, especially because nanotechnology is my field but oh well...

I tried it during a free weekend on Steam, and I legitimately don't remember a game boring me that hard at the moment loading ends.

I've seen some gameplay videos, it's too slow, sluggish, poorly designed and envisioned and has nothing that would immerse the player in the universe nor the battle.

The setup or the game? Did you run either as administrator?
