According to it's store page, and it's download page, Commandos is available in Spanish.

Can confirm as an owner, but this only applies to Commandos: Ammo Pack, and not Commandos 2+3.

In general, language availability for every game depends on permissions from the publishers.

Well, even though the OP only mentioned the first one, not having #2 in Spanish is bullshit. I'm with him on that.

As for #3, who cares? :P It could be available is Swahili, it's still a shit game.
I know for some other games out there, a group of people might come together and make modifications to replace the games language, but that is pretty rare.

It would make sense, though, since Pyro Studios was a Spanish company.

I have a completely different opinion (Brazilian here). I was just thinking how almost every single game launched nowadays have at least subtitles in Spanish and in Brazilian Portuguese. I for one think this is huge and much appreciated.

Now, for older titles... well most of them weren't even available to buy at the time, so it made sense. Adding extra languages for old titles (even if possible) would not be worth it. Besides, here in Brazil, there's even a sort of meme that we learned English mostly from gaming, which it ended up being nice. :)

It's a problem for many games from the 90s. The Spanish localizations had different distribution agreements (at least in Spain) so they couldn't be included here when GOG managed to secure the "general" rights. In this case, things would probably be easier to solve if Pyro Studios still existed.
Sorry everyone for not writing english below but kamand73 will probably undertand me better in portuguese which is very close to spanish.
