There is a product called Wet Water that is regularly used in fire fighting. It is just a brand name for a Class A foam used on Class A fires. Generally Class A foams are products that reduce the surface tension of the water, which results in better saturation and adherence. This helps extinguish the fire, and helps prevent re-ignition. These products are commonly referred to as wetting agents.

Oh yes, and of course it's "all natural", which is automatically a good thing. You know what else is all natural? Snake venom, uranium, lava... Lots of things you'd really prefer not to make any personal contact with.

That reminds me of my mint tea baglets; they happen to claim the tea was made with natural plants (as what, opposed to synthetic ones?). I nearly choked to death laughing when I first discovered...

I actually find this subject rather interesting, being a first year chemistry student :p

They might well understand it perfectly. In cooling systems, the higher the wetting the better, since it makes for better contact and hence better heat transfer, assuming I understand the concept correctly. Actually, looking at the page, I'm quite sure they know exactly what they're talking about. Nothing to see here.

It's always 4 out of 5 dentists. I don't know why, but that's always the number they use in advertising, probably because it's low enough to be achievable, but sounds rather impressive.

JHFC, I remember the bad old days when we here in the US obviously lived under communism/socialism hell when commercial speech could actually be regulated and it was illegal to make such absurd and untrue claims.
