As the title says, the latest Manor Lords update 0.8.024 is failing. I prefer a fresh build, so I've been trying to DL the 3 parts. Part 3 will not download.

Initially, the bitrate fell off a cliff, now it just fails at every attempt.

You can use Galaxy to download the offline installer. If you have already done that, try downloading from the website instead.

I'll download the latest update when I get home and let you know if I encounter any issues.

Thank you for the suggestions, but having replaced a lot of my Steam games, using Galaxy would honestly feel like a HUGE step backwards, but then I have become very fussy as I've gotten older ;-).

It's working for me now, left it for a while to see if it started working again... Bitrate did fluctuate a little, but only 25-30% below usual and only occasionally.

File Integrity check passed and I'm installing it now :-).

I replaced most my Steam games with GOG. I use Galaxy only to download offline installers. You don't need Galaxy once the installer is downloaded.

I honestly hadn't even heard of gog until around a year ago, I'd clearly been missing-out.

I have just one game left where I'm forced to login to prove it's genuine, even though I had an official code before I could even install it *rolls eyes*.

Madden 19... EA, plenty of experience with that company, including beta-testing for them quite a few years ago, but I won't go into all of that, you'd never shut me up ;-).

Yeah, I have few games on steam that still force that bull and wish they come to GOG.

Yeah, me too. I still have a pretty big library on Steam, but I don't bother with any of those games anymore, purely on principle.

My personal wishlist, or at least a few from that list...

More Lego games, they can be great fun.
Older FIFA games, although I can't see that happening.
Madden, also unlikely to happen.
NBA 2K games would be great.
Newer Final Fantasy games, was never a fan of the old PSX titles, despite their popularity.
Some decent sports and racing games, they are in extremely short supply here.

John M and his motorhome were legendary. What a coach and color commentator. His PC sim lost its way after he lost interest in it. And who can forget his Ace Hardware pitchman gigs? No one can confuse a DDG "avatar." LOL

Avatar changed, as far as I know, it appears to be ;-P. I just hadn't got around to it ;-).

As for Madden... Madden 19 is very good, no John Madden, of course, but also very few bugs, a rarity now with some AAA titles.
