Mouse stops working in DosBox after a while and I need to Alt-Tab and Alt-Tab again to make it work. It is not really a problem of Dosbox only (however it is strange that in order to make it work again I need to Alt-Tab.) I had this thing for some time. Mouse stops responding for some time. I use Windows 7 64 bit.
I have performance in Windows to High (all devices al always on) and I unticked "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" for all USB Hubs. When the mouse stops responding the light from cursor is still on.
The mouse stopped responding totally a couple of months ago, but when I checked later it worked again. I think it was due to Logitech Joystick having problem with USB set to more than 250 (I unplugged it). I had my mouse set to 500 and now I set it to 1000hz and it actually works better, but still there are problems. So what do you think might be a problem? USB power or maybe some software? Just keep in mind that it started about August. The mouse worked fine before that for about 2.5 years.
