I don't know exactly what happened but all my purchases are scattered all over. I checked "list via purchase date" and I'm pretty cetain that

--Wizardry 8 wasn't the first game I've ever bought on GOG.

--I didn't buy Gobliins 2 ten purchases before Gobliiins 1 (In fact they were bundled together if I recall)

Among other things...

Just as a FYI, there's even a thread labeled if your games are out of order.

Usually it's a good idea on any support forum to at the very least take a look at the front page of it to see if your issue is being discussed.

At least this problem shows that we do remember when we bought our GOG games ;).Cheers

I looked, I didn't see that thread, sorry.

Although "after" I made my thread, I found one with the same issue, but it was called "My library is playing musical chairs" which I missed earlier because the title wasn't all that straightforward that I passed it.

Well "out of order" could mean "not working". And then there were the musical chairs. It can be rather non-obvious with all the variations of phrases and different intents, especially from the multilingual knowledge of forum members.

I don't mind new threads being made. Previous threads get bogged down with tangents really quick. Unlike some other forums, there isn't any moderation in these forums for moving posts to new threads, so a thread easily becomes more than how it began. However, I think that's okay. It's a forum, it's not a wiki.

I don't think people have to be original in topic, their perspective of the topic already is different enough.

But I also really wish people would create a new thread for their questions rather than add to a thread that has already been solved. Too many times someone claims to have the same problem when it's obvious they didn't, otherwise the solution would have worked for them. Though, asking for clarification or to make sure are different, and is fine. Either way, I think it makes sense to create a new thread when a new variation is determined rather than continue jumbling everything into a junkyard thread for everyone else to stumble through.

Actually to be honest, I only looked at the "sticky" threads as those seemed to be the urgent important threads. None of them were labeled that. Which is why I assumed (at the time) that such a thing wasn't noticed.

I apologize for being impulsive :(

Yeah, like I said, I only skimmed the "stickied" ones as I thought those were the major issue threads, I still have a lot to learn about these forums.

And I guess, like you said, it probably was for the best I made this thread. But I dunno, I feel maybe I was a little too rushy?

If there's an in-joke/reference here, I'm not getting it.

that dude on the left looks like me

Actually wait. If you give the dude on the right the hair of the dude on the left, then you have me.

Ok, I have to ask since so many people have their panties in a twist over this... how is this such a big problem? I mean, it's been al ong time since we could arrange our libraries ourselves, the only way to do it now is by tags, and those aren't broken, so how is it important how the mess that our collections are looks like exactly at any given point?
