Hello everyone,

I'd like to make a new game from A.R.S.E.N.A.L "taste the power" & "extended power". To make this game, i will need supports from players who will help me to make the best artistic direction choice to make a great game. This project will be a commercial project but i must absolutely to move apart from the original game.

Are you interrested ?

I invite you to see my demo on youtube, write "Arsenal prototype fangame", second result theorically, to see what i've done actually.

I'm open to continue this discussion here, if you want, it's not a problem for me.

This project will be a commercial project but i need opinions first.
Here's my opinion:
don't ask "the players" what they want.
Because "the players" want everything - but not all "players" want the same.
Sounds oxymoronic, I know...and yet: it's the truth.

Best way to make a game: have a vision and realise that vision, apart from "external input" from people, who "don't put the work where their wishes are".

If your vision is good, your game will find its players.
And if your vision is not good, well...
you cannot make a fangame into a commercial project unless you have a license to do so from the rights holders. if you have not sorted this out to begin with, then the whole thing will collapse

there is a reason why "fangames" are free games
So i should make a game for myself, show it and if my game isn't good, i say to myself "i have waste my time" ? Nonsense.

First, i need to attract people with a prototype (prototype is done).
Them i must speak about what i want to share, i expect to receive their opinions.

The goal isn't to make what each of them want, because it will be a chaos if i do that but something a large people can approve.

I know that, this is why i needed a context to presenting the prototype, clearly 1940-1945 epoch will not be retained.
