Don't worry, I already redeemed the given gift code successfully.

First, my fellow GOG user gave half of the correct gift code here in the forum thread, and the second valid half in private message. The creative way includes how he indicated what the corrsponding part(s) are, and what not, in combination with a thematically independent flavor text in each individual message:
For obfuscation of the 'missing' part in the code he used a (maybe not so) obvious repetition:
(in the forum) valid-valid-PMPMP-MPMPM
(in chat/pm) NINJA-NINJA-valid-valid
And the following flavor texts / hints:
(in the forum)
"Don't expose yourself in the wilds like that…
You'd be an easy prey for Lord Gab's assassins.
