It ain't easy being the King.

Regalia: Of Men and Monarchs, a turn-based RPG where you try not to spill too much of your royal blood, is now available for pre-order, DRM-free on GOG.com with a 15% pre-order discount!

After an ill-fated expedition to empty the treasury, Kay and his royal siblings must reluctantly go on an adventure to restore the kingdom to its former glory. Thankfully, this means exciting turn-based fighting, weapon-crafting, plenty of kooky characters to meet or recruit, and lots of sightseeing.

The 15% discount will last until the game's expected release on May 18.

Watch the trailer.

Hello people! I am one of the developers for Regalia and also a veteran GoGer - feels crazy to have our game here. Let me know if you have any questions about the game, I'll be happy to answer! :)
Tactical RPGs, colourful graphics... Looks cool.

I don't do preorders, but once it's release, I'll look into it :)

Usually the developers will have orange fonts in the GOG forum.
Looks a bit too much like a mobile/flash game for me for this price.

I assure you it's anything but. It's a regular, in-depth RPG :)

You don't say! Preordered for great justice.

I don't know... I love RPGs with tactical, turn based combat, but the visual style is a bit too anime for my tastes, and town management and crafting are definately not what I'm looking for. With over 60 other games on my wishlist, I think I'll pass on this one.

Are you allowed to share some aspects of the town management and diplomatic options?
Kudos to the artist, I quite enjoyed the use of colour in the trailer and screenshots.
Imho, the lack of a hex grid is a sign of many additional shortcomings...

Hex grids have become a classical in wargaming long before the internet era, and that's for a reason.
I remember this from kickstarter. It was being made by a Polish team and looked pretty promising. Here's the page for those that want a little more info on the game.
