The color of darkness.

Scanner Sombre, a claustrophobic experience set inside a network of tunnels devoid of light, is now available for pre-order, DRM-free on GOG.com with a 20% discount and the studio's previous games included as bonuses: Darwinia, Uplink, Multiwinia, and DEFCON.

You wake up in a cave that echoes with the danger of the unknown. Confused and helpless, your only hope is to use your scanning device to explore the surrounding darkness and find an exit. With each beam, the caverns turn into a tapestry woven by colored dots. With each beam, the horrible truth comes alive.

The offers will last until May 3, 2:00 PM UTC.
If you already own any of these bonus games on GOG.com, please contact our support team to request a giftable game code.

I have to say this looks pretty damn nice, looks like a one playthough and that's it but hell this is damn wicked with the effects! I will have to give this a shot when it comes out.

Introversion doing a horror game?
Wild and puzzling, to say the least... ;)

edit: NO LINUX?!

Looks interesting enough, but I'm not sure how much 20% off of 'Coming Soon' means.
Are we now given a heads up for the future ability to preorder?

Game Devs now are like "We hear people like pre-ordering, so we now let people pre-order their pre-order"
Like the concept and own none of the other four games already, so I think this is too good a deal for me to ignore!

So it's like a game version of a scratch off lottery ticket. :P

The graphics look nice in a basic voxel way but what is there to do in the game? Is it only walking around revealing elements or are there puzzles?
I do like what Introversion makes, and this one looks as quirky and interesting as the rest of their catalogue. Onto the wishlist it goes!
Yo is this not available in Germany?
It is available in Germany (or at least here).
No Prison Architect bonus? FAIL! :P

Though I guess that's more of an outlier compared to Uplink, Darwinia and Multiwinia... which I already own...

Will probably pick this up - though not sure about replayability...
Interesting! They've never made a game like this before... or even in this perspective before. Looks like a walking sim, but I'm cool with that. (Although with so little shown, not really sure if you could tell what it is!)
Giving away full games as a pre-order bonus seems to be more & more common these days -- again, kudos to the devs/pubs. Even though it doesn't make me abandon my "No Pre-order" policy (yet anyway; throw in Prison Architect and i'm insta-preordering :PPP), the incentive is strong especially if you don't own the bonus games.

As for the game, it is certainly interesting not because of the setting but because of using a mobile LiDAR as a primary gameplay mechanic -- certainly a thing i don't remember doing in another videogame. I'll definitely keep my eye on this, but i won't purchase before reading some reviews as well as an estimate of how long it is (although quality > quantity applies here).
There is no way in hell I could play this for more than two minutes without throwing up.
