I decided to make a test purchase with a exclusive GOG game with a credit card, I chose to use a credit card because it seemed the closest to the PIX system here in Brazil that is available on Steam, but the purchase takes too long, as It's been a 3 day wait, is this normal?

Credit/debit card purchases should be instantaneous, at least in other parts of the world. What do you see listed on your orders page? Is the transaction complete or pending?
"In progress"

Open a support ticket, if you haven't already.
You can pay with Pix by choosing E-wallets > PagBank. It tells you to open the PagBank app but the QR code should work with any bank/wallet app.

Thanks you both, I will try support first to complete or cancel the current purchase, next time I will try the E-wallets option this way for sure.

Ice_Mage: Credit/debit card purchases should be instantaneous, at least in other parts of the world.
In the US it's because most of the economy is in a credit/debt system where a quick check confirms and they do authorizations, but the actual transactions can take 3-5 business days to actually go through.

But in the event the credit isn't accepted, then it may very well take longer. I remember ordering some straps from a site, sending a check. They wouldn't ship the product until they got the check, and it cleared. Sure it took like 10 days (3 days to mail the check, 3 days to clear, add a weekend) but eventually when it was all sorted they shipped the product.

With this in mind, it is possible Paypal wouldn't be any faster, because paypal will initiate a transfer and use a credit card as a backup, and if all goes well you can instantly buy something. But they can and will reject payments too if something happens.

Yeah, once money is cleared and in the wallet, purchases should be instantaneous since you've prepaid.
Hello Zack173!

I see, you are in Brazil. I had a very similar payment issue here in November 2022.

First, I suggest, you get in touch with your bank in order to confirm whether the order value actually has been charged from you or not.

In my case, none of my order attempts did actually went through, since my credit card did not passed GOG.com's validity check. No money has been charged from my account. And I have about 15 unfinished order entries - all indicating "in Progress", which according to GOG support team response even can not be removed from my order history...

Unfortunately, until today, neither my bank nor GOG.com staff members could solve my credit card payment issue!
Furthermore, I could not make any of the other (locally in Brazil available) payment options work for me, yet.
Hence, I am relying since then on a friend who is buying me the games as gift codes, reimbursing him, when we meet.

I hope you can manage to use pix or something else to put money in your GOG Wallet to complete the order process from there!

And, please, continue giving us feedback on how it goes for you, and what ultimately is working for you.
It might be of interest and help for other GOG users (especially those located here in Brazil) that encounter similar payment issues.

Thank you!

Kind regards,
foxgog
Using the "BoaCompra/PagSeguro" inquiry link sent by support, I discovered that the payment was declined.
The card belonged to my mother and at the time of purchase I paid her personally, perhaps that's and somebody suspected fraud.
I'm glad that when I made the purchase I printed the "Transaction Code" of "BoaCompra/PagSeguro".
Now I wait for the next discount to try E-wallets the way FlavioV said to finish the matter.

My history of attempting to use BoaCompra/PagSeguro (especially on Gog but also on Steam) was of constant frustration to the point that I simply do not buy in R$ anymore. I prefer buying in US$ and paying the conversion fee because at least I know I'm not gonna pull all my hair while trying to communicate with the stupidest support people I ever got the displeasure of talking to.

I hope it all works out for you, but if they fail you at least be aware that there are other ways to buy here without dealing with them.
The way with E-wallets to use PIX works, now I know that I can spend more money without using "Boleto Bancário" which is horrible currently compared to PIX.
