Hi. I've been playing CS:GO for 2 years now and I think it's time to buy a good mouse. I have a Razer goliathus mouse pad. Need suggestions. Money is not an issue. I have a claw grip and medium size palm. TIA

Isn't he the bad guy in the Golden Axe series?
Zowie what now? Sounds like a product name a five-year old came up with. Not that Razer's branding style for the "HARDCORE", edgy gamer is any better.
I quite like steelseries, which is why I ended up getting a keyboard and mouse mat from them. Didn't like razer hardware.
Does razer still have its drm in it's drivers and configuration program?

See if you can find out what sensors they use. Some mice have tracking issues like some of the laser sensors that jitter with low movement speeds.

It's sad that there is only maybe 1 current trackball out there that works well for gaming with another couple that are fairly good.

I would go with the Zowie, Better optical sensor and switches for left and right click. Did you look at the FK1? I used to use the Zowie series but dipped my toes with razer and got the Deathadder elite RGB and I HATE IT. Only the drivers ruin this mouse... It's DRM for mice. I am forced to use the old drivers and use it on offline mode all the time.

It still does. What is interesting is the newer mice they make now have the ability to save the profiles to the mice now. something all the old ones never did. so it's like a one time use the driver and set up the mouse and then save the profile then delete the driver and boom you are good. that is why I strictly wanna only use Zowie and Steel series. Logitech is meh with there new stuff. they have very bad left and right click switches that do not last long.

Laugh at both and get a trackball.

While you're at it, look into getting a better keyboard instead of those Christmas boards.

Gaming on a Unicomp is not the best. I own Unicomp 104 key and I only use it for typing and browing and other types of work but for gaming I use my Logitech G810 Orion spectrum.

How are trackball mousses for RTS games? Been always wanting to try one but damn they are expensive here in Canada.

As precise as you''ll allow them to be.

Ah, a classic model. Make sure to remember to tune the mouse speed as you want in settings.

Tried it out, I have to say it's interesting I might keep it for regular work but not gaming yet. I will try some 8-bit wars after with it to see how it does with RTS games.
