Lock, stock, and two gaping jaws.

<span class="bold">Armed and Dangerous&reg;</span>, the outrageous 3rd-person shooter where a band of misfits saves the world with eccentric weaponry, is now available, DRM-free on GOG.com, with a 25% launch discount.

A wanted bandit, a tea-obsessed robot, a mole-man that's good with explosives, and an old man with an overpowering smell will go up against King Forge's robot army. Their goal? Simple: steal the Book of Rule and save the world. But not before they make a big ol' mess of it.
As a career outlaw, Roman's not afraid to play dirty. Besides his considerable swagger, he packs some neat, non-standard-issue weaponry like a gun that plants a hungry land-shark in the ground, gas grenades that make his enemies switch sides, and a gravity-reversing gun that sends everyone flying. Will that be enough to see his rag-tag team through to the end of this crazy adventure? Do they have the firepower to defeat hulking Goliaths, disgusting hybrids, and killer droids? And is it actually true that Roman wears his mask to hide his disgustingly bad teeth?

Jump the shark and find yourself inside a rip-roaring action romp that will make you feel <span class="bold">Armed and Dangerous&reg;</span>, DRM-free on GOG.com.
The 25% discount will last until December 28, 10:59 PM UTC.
This one is great, me enjoys very very much.

Won't instabuy because I have a grand total of 2 cents on my bank account, but probably will as soon as my extra funds get through the international transfer process. Fucking banks, easy to take the money away from an account, takes days for it to show on the other one.

Shadowcat: Don't worry about expending the ammo -- there will always be more weapons and more ammo to find.

The default guns are effective enough, but they're boring, so if you use them 99% of the time then the combat will be boring. Use the fun weapons, and use them often -- that is my advice to newcomers.
Good advice. You know, this is the exact sort of thing that every game should tell you right from the start.
Nice release.

Played the game last year (I think) and it was a lot of fun. Graphics are a bit dated but the gameplay is good and the dialogues funny.
And another one off my personal list. Not much left on there to be honest.
Are you joking?

Instabuy! All 3 of them! :D

Breja: Yes! The single funniest game I have ever played is here! Yes! It's land shark launcher time!
Is the gameplay similar to Rogue Trooper?
Too many instanuys today! I always thought this one was more polished than Giants.

Can't say, I never played Rouge Trooper.

Does Armed and Dangerous allow the user to explore or is it mostly linear?

Yes, a bit.
But it has more humour. And Rogue Trooper is all-around more gritty. Anyway, both games are unique and worth a play.

Here you can see some gameplay from A&D:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rqH6d_Jb4nE
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sJooxaRVIaQ

Most of these videos show the game in streched 4:3 mode.

For me A&D is mostly and arcade game with some adventuring elements. In gamplay term it is quite similar to X-Com: Enforcer or even Rage Software's Expendable.

Looks interesting. Wishlisted for now.
From the game page:
A smack-talking rag-tag band of rebels bout on an impossible quest.
What was this supposed to say? Because "bout", as far as I know, makes no sense in this context.
Bought. I had this on my Xbox many years ago but never got that far into it despite liking the game. I've been hoping it would make its way here for a long time.
