gamesfreak64: played a demo but ouch that performance was bad i guess too many FPS, i have lots of casual games ( retail ) and they all have too many FPS heating up the cpu, anyway thats the only sad part: performance of the game ebcause of too many FPS and vsync does not work , tried all settings it does not work, it needs to be done in the gamecode.
ariaspi: The game runs on Unity engine, which has crap performance in most cases.
As a frame limiter, you should use
Rivatuner Statistics Server (RTSS) (it's also included in MSI Afterburner, if you already have that installed as a full package), and avoid using VSync, which introduces more lag to games.
yes, crap performance ( which is Unity to blame for) is Unity's fullname ,this game is burning rubber , which is a bad and sad thing, good thing is Unity games can be made to perform much better, many times they simple seem to have set no limit on fps thats why it burns rubber.
However if you happen to have a very cold room ( -10 or so) , a big expensive computer case to house your hardware, lots of fans/coolers( up to 6 huge mother coolers) , an artic cooler for the GPU (just incase :D)
then maybe the games run without burning rubber .... those setups are very expensive : ka-ching!
and will not be able to be afforded by noobs like me ( unless you loot the hardware and all the components) .
An average i3 8100 with nice hardware , nice pc case 2 to 6 fans( preferably 6 coolers) and the rest will already cost you 1200 to 1400 euros ( all seperate parts not assembled cause you want the best) ) or more since Intel will raise the retail price o CPU : ka-ching!
so at 1500 or more Euros thats way too much to run games that cost 2 to 9.99 Euro / dollar.
This will take the fun out of gaming because it will cost an arm and a leg and even the rest of all bodyparts so its very expensive.
Proper thoughtfull developing/coding will prevent having to buy extreme expensive pc, just take it easy on the FPS, dont use nlimted or 60 or more just because your develop machine can handle it make sure as many users can run it :D
check attachment: wow!.jpg
dont be fooled by the left temp ( Celsius) under min: 37° 33° 34° 32° those are the temps when the PC is doing 'nothing' (idle) check the 65 plus temps which keep going up but i didnt want to burn my cpu (◑‿◐)
So, a game can be good, or bad or excellent, but if the game is a cpu 'killer' this is bad, the positive side is the fact a new setup is needed, so the old one will stay cause its old .... and the new pc build should be able to handle all those problem games ( cpu) if it doesnt then this will prove its not because of my old setup... :D
but prove of unoptimised code , cause if the curren t PC was really bad all the games should have problems and its only a number of games that cause problems :D
Anyway,
