A merciless survival roguelite turn-based city builder – dotAGE is now out on GOG!

You are the Elder. You had a vision of a doomed future, so you took a handful of Pips, your fellow villagers, and led them to an empty valley to start anew. They need your guidance to survive the events foretold by the Prophecy, so make sure your Pips work hard! With its turn-based village builder mechanics inspired by board games, roguelike survival elements, awesome pixel graphics, and multiple difficulty levels to match your playstyle, it’s one of those indie gems that will give you incredible amounts of fun.

Check it out!
This game looks great!
And I hadn't seen such a charming old man in a game since the McPixel games. Buying soon.
survival, roguelite and city builder - that's probably the closest to a complete collecion of genres I can't stand in one game that I've seen. Just add "visual novel", and the unholy beast will be complete.
For a second I thought it said dotHack. qq
Although the screen shot with people on fire is a bit horrifying, this game otherwise is very cute. Wishlisted for now.
Gog version is already outdated .

Newest version is V 1.1.10 N .

GOG.com: A merciless survival roguelite turn-based city builder
I hope it's the casual, beginner-friendly kind of mercilessness.
Roguelike, survival, city builder... that combination of genres is like pure, concentrated anathema.

Meanwhile, in the rest of the gaming world that doesn't consist of bitter old men who hate fun yelling at clouds, it's got a 95% all/97% recent positive rating. Looks like my kind of thing, and the dev didn't "forget" the Mac/Linux versions on GOG. (Apparently a solo dev who worked on it part-time for 9 years.)

It's not "a different taste", it's that somehow EVERYTHING is miserable and bad and horrible, and the incessant need to claim that everything is miserable and bad and horrible on every topic.
