I'm inclined to agree with you, after the fiasco of trying to play Eador:MOTBW with all the constant patches, that just kept breaking the game as much as they tried to fix issues. It was a real shame, because when I did have stretches when I was actually able to play it, it was quite a lot of fun. I'm very gun-shy about pulling the trigger on this one, after that experience :/
looks nice, seriously thinking about it.

Eh, I'll wait and see if this a bugfest...

I'll wait until they take most of the bugs out... Which'll probably take quite a while.

Sorry, I don't trust you :( Eador:MOTBW is still a bugfest :(
Will wait as the last game had more holes than swiss cheese.
Still good to see more.......
From the game page [emphasis added]:
- The ultimate Eador game: Imperium includes all original content from Masters of the Broken World (excluding the campaign).
Not quite sure what this means in relation to the first two points, and in the context of Eador. Imperium being a new chapter in the Eador series.

The devs have a rather bad record regarding bugs and the likes regarding Eador: Masters of the Broken World, wonder if patching for it will continue now that this one's out. With zero extras, not even a manual; a deluxe or some such edition coming down the road?

I bet that it "includes all original content" from MOBW means it just includes the original heroes, buildings, etc... from the original game but it excludes the campaign from the original because the new campaign is just going to be a retread of the old one.
They said there would be a Linux version of Masters of the Broken World, they delayed it and when it came it didn't work at all. They dropped it and it was totally abandoned. And the windows version is known to have a lot of bugs also, as some people have said.

So no, I won't be purchasing anything of Snowbird Games.

Nope! Not buying it. They should fix the bugs in the two previous "games" first.

Isn't it better to put all efforts into the new game instead?

The game page speaks of new heroes, new units, new (unique) worlds, in an all new campaign that brings a fresh approach. And the blurb here additionally says that mechanics and rituals will make a difference to one's (tried) strategy and tactics. All this doesn't sound like a rehash of the previous game, so quite puzzled, and curious, what that last bit on the game page means.
