Life, the universe, and...

Everything, a procedural nature simulation where you can be literally anything, is now available DRM-free on GOG.com with a 20% launch discount.

The universe doesn't rely on heroes to keep going. Every single thing is equally important: A humble speck of dust, a flower petal heavy with morning dew, a fish swimming against the current, a bird watching this symphony unfold from its vantage point - everything. You can join in, making up worlds within worlds from different perspectives, or become an enlightened observer to this mesmerizing documentary.

The 20% discount will last until April 28, 11 AM UTC.

Everything you need to know.

Will the game have more Alan Watts? Or is it just the trailer? Also wondering how you convinced his son Mark Watts to use his recordings :o

The amount of RAM required as mentioned seems a bit high to me (8 Go). I know that GOG usually puts up the specs as given by the devs but it would be nice if your "testing team" could provide some infos on the real minimal specs (I doubt you test games only on 8Go computers) instead of just copy/pasting.

Wishlisted for now as it's also available on PS4 (where I'm sure I'll be able to run it)
Don't expect this to be a game, according to the game description it's an "interactive experience"... :D

jpilot: If it is similar to "Mountain" (the developer's previous game) then that might actually be the case.
At least Mountain only costs 99 cents which is a fair price for such a pointless "interactive experience".
But Everything is way too expensive at 14,99€, even if it does have more "content".
Has anyone got Everything? Is Everything good? I hardly know anything about Everything.
I've never heard of this before. It looks interesting, but what's up with the weird rolling mammals in the trailer? As bird, fish, and amphibians are animated beautifully, I have to assume it's a design decision, but does anyone know the purpose behind it?

Maighstir: Yup.
GOG has released Everything, Nothing is left to release.

deja65: What is holding back Nothing from release? We need that now,and to be bundled with Everything ;).Cheers
They've already released Nothing many, many times, and will continue to do so in the future. :)

Taken out of context...
Is that an expensive screen saver?
Is Nothing still on the wishlist?

Not nearly as much as theirs.
Just needs a Linux port and then I'll have Everything!

The Alan Watts' narration is a nice touch.
