The Unterzee will claim everything.

Zubmariner, a delightfully deep and terrifying expansion pack to the exploration/roguelite cult hit Sunless Sea, is available now for Windows, Mac, and Linux, DRM-free on GOG.com. Resourceful captains can now dive into the base game for 66% off.

Your steamboat has served you well, helping you roam the islands, transport curious cargo, worship cruel gods, overcome madness or seek after it. Now it's time to convert your vessel into a zubmarine and dive into the unforgiving, ever-shifting depths of the Unterzee. Death, despair, and mind-rending discoveries await you in these dark waters. Will you survive long enough to uncover the stories of the 11 new ports and to brave all the fresh terrors lurking there? You might have to resort to cannibalism, deception, or the occasional shady deal, but that's a small price to pay for an entrepreneurial soul such as yourself, isn't it Trespasser?

Succumb once again to your severe "sea-seekness" and dive deeper into the abyss as a foolhardy Zubmariner, DRM-free on GOG.com.
In anticipation of these submerged horrors, Sunless Sea received a free content update, which adds a handful of new quests and events, along with a revamped Rose Market.
The 66% discount on Sunless Sea will last until October 14, 4:59 PM UTC.

Sarasa: Instabuy :)
Instabuy here as well but....
Why do I have DLC as a separate title?
When I'm lauching Sunless Sea it's base game without zub. I need to launch it by DLC to play DLC. Quite weird:

Wishlisted until I can play the original. I end up saying that far too often...
Yeah, instabuy here as well and i'm also curious why it is that the Dlc is as a seperate title.
In installed it via GoG Galaxy and startet it and could continue my game i already played, but it is
a little biz weird.
Didn't get much into it (during that weekend it was free, I think). It's kind of a complicated english.

I understand the steep price though (besides the regional part of it) as a story DLC is kinda big in that story based game...
will have to take a look at the original game since reading this thread.
Interesting. The DLC is actually standalone. It's a separate game on your shelf and you don't need Sunless Sea installed to play it. You do need to own Sunless Sea to buy it though. Not entirely sure why they did it that way.
so, is there an easy mode or something? :) I love exploring but in this game it's just a couple of minutes before I run out of fuel / food / money :D (usually all three at once :D

Did you try? I'm fairly certain that you can buy it without owning the original, but I could be wrong.

EDIT: Yeah, I checked and it's properly stand-alone. You don't get the little message in check out telling you that you can't buy it yet.

I don't know whether this game has an easy mode, but I do recall that in Sunless Sea you can turn off the limit on not being able to save. That's sort of an easy mode and I imagine this expansion has it as well.

Is it possible to play the whole game with a submarine, or just the DLC part?

Didn't know that. The game page states it requires Sunless Sea in order to play. That usually means you need to own the previous game to buy it. GoG should probably fix that.

[EDIT] I'll pm Judas.

I have an unredeemed steam key of Sunless Sea.

If only I could get that unactivated steam key to work on gog, it would be so good.

Then I can buy the DLC on gog too.

You can buy the game on GoG without Sunless Sea. The expansion is stand-alone.

Wait for gog connect? If it's in the plans... now would be a good time it seems.
