PaterAlf: The funny thing is that some of the forum games are already around for a longer time than Orkhepaj (and certainly much longer than him/her as an active forum member). Word Association Game started in June 2011, Just Three Words in November 2008 and What is this Game? in January 2009.
What is funny about that?

TonyMarqulis: At least half of them are also quite educational, if you took a minute to actually check them out.
I can't see how they can be educational at all.

That's because you didn't take time to check them out and participate in them from time to time.

It's funny and kind of ironic that you complain about something that is around and enjoyed by most members for more than 12 years when yourself arrived at the forum just a few months ago (or at least I've never noticed you before).

I still can't see why that is funny or ironic. Many not most.

To be honest, I didn't expect you to get it.

Yep I know, cause there is nothing funny or ironic about that.

That's because you didn't check any of them out.

But I did.
Count in pictures: okay so this is just some items with number on them... thats lame.
Or Just three words , just 3 sort of random words without any meaning ...

Sorry to disappoint you but I'm not a troll. Why are you continuing with these personal attacks?

If you don't like these games, there's a simple solution to evade them: simply don't click on them.
It's only a few threads, and these get "recycled" over and over again, so it's not as if they oust the more important threads (what would be that important anyway? The news? They're clearly marked with a blue dot - so, easy to find).
You are online every single day...the threads you visited, are greyed out, as long as nobody else has posted in them in the meantime, so all you have to do on every day to find anything new (thread or comment), is to go back the threads list for 24 hours, and click on these that are white and of interest to you.
Hey, come to think of it - I believe there are even more "give-away" threads in General Discussions, than "forum game" threads...why don't you complain about those, too?
Is it maybe because YOU take part in those?
What would you say, if someone else would ask for the removal of all the "Give-away" threads?

This topic is made so I can hide them , I dont want to visit those topics ever. True that I could just fav the ones I like or just visit the ones I used yesterday ,but how could that let me check new topics that I may like? And then I have to find them within the see of forumgame topics.

Those giveaways at least games related . I can see how they can be frustrating ,yeah there could be fewer .
With the asked solution here you could hide them, so this would fix your problem too +1 reason to support this topic.

Go ahead and make a topic about removing giveaways I wouldn't mind at all, even thou I enjoy the gifts I got (thx gifters).

Maybe the same way I (and probably everyone else) do: by looking through the threads of the last 24 hours, and deciding by their titles, which ones could be interesting?

And that is where forum games are the problem, they flood that part.
Guess i can give you a little + before your rating drops even further ;)

personally i do like the 'general' part of the forum, if it is in any way game related or even not like some posts are ment to vent or to just do funny

I would imagine you as a safehaven snowflake would enjoy parts where people come together and do their thing.

I belief it could benefit you if you would clasify the amount of forum games and see how that number stacks up against general gaming posts, questions, gog notifications and inquiries

there seems to be a fair even balanced amount of posts availabe imho
