Some game updates weren't to my liking, so i decided to rollback, on an installation made from Galaxy (outlast 2, didn't like story mode and cutscene alterations). But outside Galaxy, on manually downloading and installing, how can you do that? There aren't different versions of the game as separate files, from what i see. Can you degrade to a previous version, without the client? Or even better, directly download the version number you want?

If you kept your installer, otherwise talking very nicely with support if they happen to have kept the desired version and are willing to let you download it.
It's stupid doing it that way instead of having patches because it encourages people to constantly download full games or pushes them into looking to other places to find an older version.
I'd like to see this added as a feature as well. Eg, perhaps a "drop-down" box on the offline installer section with different versions.
Hm, I wonder if GOG folks could make some kind of patches that would downgrade game version. Like, you download a patch to swap game version 1.2 files with version 1.1 files, or download a patch with a script to delete new files to make the game version 1.1 again.
GOG wants you use its client. Don't expect another answer than : "we invite you to download Galaxy to use the rollback feature ! ".
