I suppose for me, Linux is a way to keep it relevent still. I don't like saying goodbye to old computers. Hahah
I won't be crushed if I don't get picked however. Like I said, anyone else who wants it more can go for it.
It'll probably work ok as long as the laptop's specs aren't too bad, RCT3 is even older (2004). Random.org will decide who wins :)

Yeah, I've actually upgraded everything on it to its fullest. I enjoy working on things like that.
