I have thought about this line of play. If we were guaranteed that the 2L were still in the deck, I would do it to make sure an L gets drawn. That would give us 100% correct info on brasas if the random draw was F. But we don't have that guarantee and we risk passing 2 fascist policies without real gain. So I prefer the 1 government play and leave 2 cards at the bottom of the deck. 1 fascist policy is enough for me to condemn brasas and dedo.

Btw if some liberals disagree with the others line if play, they should vote accordingly. If you preferred adalia's government over brasas', why didn't you vote yes now? I had the impression that Zfr and RW preferred this government. What's the gain from saying one thing and voting another? Or is it just to make sure that the majority's policy goes through? From what others wrote it wasn't sure that the liberals ' majority preferred brasas.

I've said it a few times, I preferred going for the Brasas government for the information it reveals, not because I thought he was a liberal. I was the one who initially proposed the idea that we could vote in both Dedo and Brasas to expose them as fascists and it might be worth it.

In fact, the plan has already worked well. That vote in itself is rather valuable information. It says a lot if you look at the possibilities...

Let's not go for the random policy, please. We don't know how many liberal policies are left in the stack and we would give away an awful lot of information. Information about dedo and Brasas from what Brasas does. Information from the investigation result that Brasas will claim, if he passes an F policy. Remember, if a random F policy is passed, the presidential action associated with it is void.

I don't follow the reasoning behind that. Brasas and myself are only 2 players. Let's say we were scum and we have synced as much as possible without a night-chat so we are able to align our moves. There are still 2 others one of which might be Hitler who might not be on the same page. Having a practically unanimous vote is at least noteworthy.

I don't have doubts about Brasas since I know he is legit. Everyone else isn't. I'm not as smart nor as clairvoyant as others so I can't be 100% sure of anything outside of my immediate knowledge.

Yeah, it's a bit weird for me that fascists would want a Brasas government in case he really is liberal. I thought they might try to sabotage the vote. Now we are locked in for Brasas so fascists can't risk voting against him. It would be hard to justify as there is a 60% chance that the random would throw up a F policy. It's a weird game because so far I can't be 100% about anyone (though I do tend to trust greek, lift and somewhat scene). So I think we should stick to the plan and elect Brasas, it should be a win-win either way. If he passes 2F, he and dedo are 90% scum. If he passes LL or LF then we go 4-1 and greek can close the deal.

You haven't noticed them trying? Sure they didn't push too hard on the Adalia alternative, just like I don't expect them to push too hard on the Chaos alternative. But that's because positioning against a 90% chance of L is impossible to do rationally. They sure have planted numerous seeds that they will collect after we pass the L though. I think they are locked into the WIFOM play. If they try to solidify their strategy they become super vulnerable to the potential 2nd investigation. I mean, either they lose flatout 5-1, or that second investigation comes up very soon and under Liberal president (come to think of it, this is good evidence for Greek being Liberal). They might change tack after it happens of course.
