It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

Browser: Brave with delete all cookies on close setting enabled

Results: On main store page, left hand options column, check box options for "HIde owned" and "Show only wishlisted items" missing. They previously appeared directly below "Show only discounted" box. Icons for "wishlisted" and "in library" not appearing on game tiles. "Wishlist" and "library" status are correctly displayed if full game page is opened. Same results with uBlock Origin enabled/disabled and page refresh performed.
I had to pop in to read this just because I wanted to see how long ago it was created, wondering if it was originated in 2017 or something.

Two days ago. Color me surprised.

ADDED: I criticize gog all the time, mostly about this web site. But, to be clear, I am a huge gog fan, or more precisely, DRM free fan, so I do hope and want them to be successful. And to be fair, the kind of work this site requires is likely the kind that would cause some not inconsequential "harm" in the process. I mean at this point it's likely a whole new website to be built and then I can't imagine all the possible pitfalls in transferring everything and having it work properly. And when it inevitably doesn't, they will get lots of flak for it. So yeah, in a sense, I do almost feel bad for them too.

But man, you just can't keep this site held together now mostly by duct tape I imagine and put on a professional face that impresses potential new customers... or at the very least doesn't have them running and screaming for the exits. There is no "good" answer, only one that is less bad, and IMO, just crossing yourself and building a new site and dealing with all the pitfalls is better in the long run than this continued... web site?

Just wanted to pop in and say I agree with you. I appreciated GOG for bring me tons of DRM free games to keep me busy until I die. But GOG really needs to fixed the darn website. Great post!

Yea, those options are missing for me as well... I hope this gets fixed/reversed.

I can imagine it was made on purpose, as the shop listings can be cached easier, as the other filters are individual (where cache would be meaningless).

But UX is more important than some stupid caching.
I just checked several pages:
https://www.gog.com/en/promo/20231016_cozy_autumn_sale
https://www.gog.com/en/promo/20231016_thq_publisher_sale
https://www.gog.com/en/promo/weekly_deals_3_october
https://www.gog.com/en/promo/20231019_adrenaline_rush

All these pages initially show my owned games marked as "in library", resp. my wishlisted games marked as "wishlisted".

- That's until I refresh the page: after that, all the markings are gone again.

https://www.gog.com/en/games
Doesn't show markings at all. Regardless of refreshes.

https://www.gog.com/en
Shows all the markings, even after a refresh.
I had posted a temporary work-around for this problem, if anyone is interested:

Same here. I only see the "Show only Discounted" and "Hide DLC" options, but everyone else is still missing.

Would either of you please provide details (application name, version) of your browser(s)?

Now, I am curious as to which elements might be responsible for the disparity between experiences when using: https://embed.gog.com/games

I appreciate your trying to help very much, but sadly this does not work for me.

I am using the same Chrome browser that I have been using forever, without changing any settings.
And I still cannot see either the filtering options to hide/unhide owned or wishlisted games, nor seeing the labels on the gamecards for game in my library or wishlisted.

Have you, at any point (in the past), used the GOG Galaxy client?

Please, forgive the enquiry, as I am only attempting to understand which variables to consider as potential causes.

I have used the Galaxy client in the past yes.

However, I now mostly download the offline installers and make purchases etc through the website only, as I am not interested in multiplayer or any of the Galaxy DRM/features

Thank you for the response.

I had last used it in 2015 or 2016; so, whether or not a user has used Galaxy, does not seem to be a contributing factor.

It is my hope that GOG will revert the changes that had caused this issue.

I rather send a vodka to Putler than install Galaxy or any other new client. I have Steam and only because I already have a few 100 games there. If not for that, I would uninstall it ASAP.
