MegisED: When they're not making any more money from it.
This was my thought on it and judging from the price it still is on (ebay and other sources) then 2026 looks a likely Gog release year.

Tauto: Will it or not?
I love how you asking about a possible Skyrim on GOG, seems to be the only post of yours that doesn't get downvoted. I guess that's the only common ground you have with those that rep dunk you.

On topic, I doubt they'll ever release it here on GOG. The game depends a lot on Steam's Mod Workshop, I don't even know if that's how it's called. Anyway, we'll be able to tell a lot today about Bethesda's commitment to GOG, as we're all hoping for a new release, considering the Quakecon.

CMOT70: After Bethesda have finished the Samsung Smart Fridge and Motorola Pager ports.
Or right after Half Life 3 and Portal 3 are released.
Yes, it will.
I guess not before they'll release next chapter (on Steam).

I'm pretty sure Skyrim release is red herring/hoax. I only heard one guy had some info on this potential release, and it never gave anything away. Not going to happen.

It doesn't need Steam to run or be modded.

Are you certain that is the case, I was referring to the Special Edition, the Skyrim re-release. Doesn't it come with a "creators club" or something? Or am I completely wrong, and that was just Fallout 4?

%100 certain (any edition),as for F4 haven't played that one much.
SE will not come to GOG due to Creattion Club... LE is possible though... c'mon GOG

SE can be tweaked, but the real decision is Gog need to push Beth a bit harder.

Creation Club and Steam Workshop have no bearing on your ability to mod Skyrim or Fallout 4. I have both games (the SE of Skyrim as well) and have modded the crap out of both of them using only mods from Nexus Mods.

As for Skyrim coming here: I think it will, and I have a feeling within the next year or so. I believe most people thought there was no way Fallout:New Vegas would ever be here due to its Steam integration as well, and yet it's here.

How does Creation Club have anything to do with it?

Being online / having to connect to Bethesda.net / able to buy credits through Steam only

That can be dealt with/disabled just like Steam integration.
