That drawing is fantastic! I wish I could draw nearly as well. I've been spending a lot of time drawing recently and damn, it's not like I had any delusions about my talent, but still this makes me fully aware of how much I suck :D
Anyway, is your daughter a fan of the games, the original comics, the cartoon or all of the above? Sam & Max are great characters, it's a pity Telltale went 100% with their new interactive movie style, and dropped Sam & Max. I'd love to see more games with them, or maybe a feature length animated movie.
