Yeah, I know I have to deal with pop up ads. But I am getting more and more embarrassed by what I'm seeing from GOG. All I'm getting are ads for soft porn type games with gigantic boobs and sexual innuendo. I have my own gigantic boobs, thank you very much.

I am always bragging on GOG, but if this is what other people are seeing, how embarrassing for GOG. I don't search or view porn on line, so have no idea why I'm seeing this crap.

GOG, if you're going to do popup ads, please do better.

And this form won't let me attach a .jpg file of these ridiculous ads.

I've never received a pop-up ad on GOG, for anything. Where on the site are you seeing them (e.g. front page, at checkout, etc.)? Keep in mind that your screenshot can't be larger than 2 megabytes.

Draclvr:
If you are eventually able to post a screenshot of the advertisement(s) (if the file size is indeed the problem, as mistycoven had suggested), please, heavily-censor the content (for your own sake).

Nope, limit is 500 KB per pic, 2 MB is for all pics in a post.

Thank you, I didn't know that. They really should make that clearer.
Pics or it didn't happen, literally.
Consider using an alternate image host such as a NSFW allowing Discord or...maybe a drive link of some kind.
1. what popups?
2. since ther's not allowed any nudity in the product pages, I doubt that it's shown in ads
3. I doubt they show anything that would fit the description of "soft porn". (sexual interaction without actually showing the primary genitals).

Seconded. I'd suggest "other software" may be the cause here. Check that your malware/anti-virus scanner is up-to-date and try running a scan with it. Alternatively, try one of the following scanning services:

ESET Online Scanner
Trend Micro Housecall
MalwareBytes Free Virus Scanner

Yup, sound advice. The only other possibility I can think of is that OP is hovering the mouse over tiles that show games like the Kagura and Medibang releases in the front page. And while those games emphasize "ginormous bazookas" (to the point of being turn-offs rather than more attractive) that still wouldn't qualify as "soft porn" as per neumi5694's post.
I've drunk some hard port before. It's nice but it burns.
I sure hope OP has their chat blocked, otherwise I can't even imagine the possible incoming...

Good luck.

And for the record, I've been here since nearly the beginning, and I don't recall ever seeing a single pop up ad here before. Maybe I'm just not remembering some past time where it occurred, but I don't recall it ever happening here. Some other sites though... whew.

There was https://www.gog.com/forum/general/ads_when_redeeming_gaming_amazon_code/page1 but apart from that...

Attached is an example of what I believe the OP is talking about. It's an ad I got while browsing some other (non pornographic) website. Obviously, to see these kinds of ads you need to disable ad blockers.

Yeah fair enough, that's not a great look. GOG maybe needs to set a whitelist for what games can appear in those ads, or a blacklist for adult games, whichever.
